    Your best bet is to get a "T" fitting so you can run your stock gauge and your autometer gauge... I THINK it is 1/4" npt... take the new sender with you to Lowes or whatever, and find one that fits..

    1st: it takes two people to rewind the spring in the handle, one to hold and insert an allen wrench or something in the hole, and one to wind it up.. 2nd: no matter what the dealer tells you, the part can be had through Ford and it's not expensive... I have seen several people say they couldn't...

    Yeah just have your local shop do up a new brace.. the problem probably is in where the air hose from the scoop to the factory airbox is interferes with the front of the brace... if you are doing it just for looks, dont use the intake tube...

    I suspect a person could fab up the brackets required to fit it atop a non-stock intake.. And while I seriously doubt there is any true performance gains by adding it, it does look awsome up there.. after driving a Mach1 finally last month, I seriously thought about doing it on my new cervinis...

    If your body shop is any good they can match it fine, but if you are painting the whole car, use the paint code on your door. If it is a three part paint, (E9/Laser Red) is, make sure thats how they repaint it..

    Previous owner put 96-98 tails in mine, I didn't switch 'em back 'cause I like them better.. They look more "Mustang like" to me.

    And if you didn't pull out the spout before setting the timing, your timing is wrong. Bring the car up to full operating temp. then pull spout plug out, then set timing, then replace spout.

    well, would like to see pics, but, for one thing, the rear caliper pistons SCREW back in, they don't press in like the fronts.. It sounds like the pads wore down to the metal and strted to eat the rotors?

    Does anyone make a special wrench for the distributor hold down?

    1st make sure you installed the distro with the motor at #1 cylinder TDC on the COMPRESSION stroke. #2 make sure your wires are correct for your engine/cam, there are two different firing orders for the 302/5.0. The distibutor is driven by the cam, and so you cant really put it 180 degrees...
