    Traction Control??

No traction control until '01 I think... I think it was an option or something as my instrument cluster has the light that goes off when the rear wheels loose traction... I think it is good for racing... they used it in Formula 1 until it was banned one or two seasons ago...

    Mustang Backfiring at 4000 RPM

Mine did that it was the fuel pump... as my car was already 135.000+ miles I replaced the whole fuel pump... of course, I had already ruled out: - Spark plugs were OK... - Coils were OK... check impedance (do a seach on the forums on this matter.) - New fuel filter OK... - Injectors just...

    Explorer Help

Doing the analogy with a 2000 GT... hot engine coolant is flowing all the time through the heater core... if you get cold air in MAX A/C (I always use MAX A/C) and HOT air on NORM A/C, then the blend door is opening when it is not supposed to do it... on Mustangs there is a vacuum motor for this...

WELL, MECHANIC THINKS HE FOUND MY BLOWER/HEATING PROBLEM

I agree... if that temperature is true that must be directly from the blower discharge... I would use an infrared gun to measure temperatures all the way in the air system...

    '02 Stock Stang missing/hesitating

Do not forget to blow the engine with compressed air before removing the COP, and blow the spark plug hole before removing the plug to avoid debris to fall into the cylinder and cause damage... I use to do each coil and spark plug one by one...

    '02 Stock Stang missing/hesitating

Yes, the rails are directly on top but the plug holes are not pointing straight up... I use a long extension... Primary (low impedance) coil is fed with battery voltage from the harness. It is measured across the two pins on the COP connector. The secondary coil (high impedance) amplifies...

Took The Stang to the Shop Today

One question Kramer03GT... all this happened all of a sudden? all these parts failed within a narrow time-frame? I would only fix one thing first... I would scan the car again and check that the MAF is out of range (not giving a reliable signal to the PCM)... I would clean it... if this...

    '02 Stock Stang missing/hesitating

There is no need to remove the fuel rail... before removing the coils, look for a multimeter and measure the impedances on both the high- and low-impedance sides of each coil... I don't remember the numbers but I think it shoud be like 55K ohm and 5K ohm respectively... if you remove the plugs...

    A/C belt whine.

Maybe the belt needs to be changed. The tensioner pulley might be at its maximum travel thus not achieving enough tension. Check if you can turn the A/C by hand with the engine off, just to discard A/C compressor seizure.
