    This may help you: Wiring 2 step through clutch switch - Corral Forums make sure and read the whole thing, there was some trial and error at first. I will be doing the same soon but with an external 2 Step like they are talking about. It will still be the same concept using a relay.

    The stock dist. from an EFI doesn't advance the same for a carb if you are still using it. (I think, I am not sure, please correct me if I am wrong) Try a run w/Out the vacuum hose. Stock timing sux unless running spray. Put it around 14-15 at idle and see how that does and work from there...

    Like I said, I am running off memory but I don't think you have to drop the VB, just the pan. It will hit on the trans tunnel or at least mine did, so I dropped the cross member and used a jack to lower it. The only reason I am not 100% sure you don't have to drop the VB is cause I did drop mine...

    I put a B&M unit in for an after market shifter (for sale by the way) and it was not that bad but you will probably need to lower the tranny some. If memory serves me correct, drop the pan and there is a nut on the inside holding it in, just watch how the linkage is on the valve.

    Do yourself a yourself a favor. Ditch that Fram filter like a chick you picked up in a bar and found out it's a dude! Search about it, they will kill your motor. I am speaking from experience, I lost an engine to one. Get a motorcraft.
