    The 05 and up Mustang uses a highly modified version of that Thunderbird/LS platform. It's not new for 07. IF the 07 is any heavier its probably due to additional stampings and reinforcement.

    Unfortunately I cant help you with that, but I must comment. The Mustang has had issues with filling gas, front suspension noise, rear diff whine, cowl shake......and Ford redesigns the AC knobs????? Way to go taking care of the issues Ford. :nonono: But I still love my stang :SNSign:
