mechanical water temp gauge - install question

You have to use the adapter regardless of whether the threads fit or not. The inside of the adapter has a tapered seat for the probe to sit against and the threaded loose piece locks it down. See attached.

    EFI Swap Donar cars

That would be easiest thing to do. Unless you're looking at junkyard cars that might already have had the MAF sensor removed by someone else.

    EFI Swap Donar cars

The articles probably point toward the '86-93 Mustang because it provides the most complete or usable package. Especially if you're after an HO engine. You can find HO engines in FOX/MN12 TBirds, Cougars, LTD's and Mark VII's. Not sure when the Lincoln went to mass air. They were speed...

How is your cable routed? Mine runs down the back of the shock tower to the crossmember. It's really no where even close to the exhaust. My cable is the Summit replacement for a FOX.

t5 swap bellhousing question Please help!!!

Brian, How long is your ball stud? How tall (fore/aft) is the boss that the ball stud is threaded into? I've got mine apart right now and can compare dimensions if need be. The only way I can see your ball stud or lever arm hitting the pressure plate is if the ball stud was too long...

    T5 swap - starter question

Not from my findings. My car started life as a 6cyl 3 spd T code. When I put in a 289 backed by a T5, I re-used the original 6 cylinder starter motor. This was with a 157 tooth 28oz C6ZE flywheel. Later, the 289 was replaced with a 5.0HO fitted with a 157 tooth F1ZE 50oz flywheel. Same...
