    So is that another vote for Dr. Gas? I think I'll just go with the Dr. Gas. I've never doubted its sound, but just the idea of having to get the pieces welded together. What about comparing performance wise of BBK X pipe vs. Dr. Gas X pipe? Do Mac Prochambers make more than any X or H pipe?

    I meant fitment as in the same type of flanges. Everyone says the Dr. Gas sounds good, and I believe em, but I just don't see how it could sound different than a BBK when it looks like almost the same design. Also, anyone have any dyno numbers on x pipes and muffler setups?

    Yeah I just got my 98 GT and I've always noticed certain parts are only for 96-97. The 98 GT must be sooooooooooooo different. :shrug:

    Yeah, 94-95 is the best year. You get the luxury of the sn95 interior, plus the power of the 5.0. You can't go wrong with that.

    Well, it's kinda just to have everything work out right, no hassles. If I get a shop to do it, I'll probably want some welded on tips, cause I don't like the factory ones too much. I'm kinda glad you suggested that because I've really always wanted an O/R X-pipe and some Spintech mufflers...

    Gino, that is definitely an awesome car. I like the color...but there is also a black GT I will be looking at soon. I think I'd rather have a more stealth black GT, black wheels, darkass tint....ya know.

    Can't say I know crap about 4.6s, but I'm pretty sure the 99+ GTs are PI motors. All the 96-98 guys want the PI heads & cams to get up to part with the 99+ guys. Thats why the 99+ is rated at like 260hp and the 96-98 is along the lines of like 220-230hp...not real sure.

    Yeah the only way I'd ever have Tri-bars would be on a Fox, 93 Cobra R style. There has to be more black stangs with black bullitts!!....guess I should ask the 4.6 crowd too.

    Anyone else care to contribute? Yeah I dunno about 17s or 18s. If your car is lowered and you have 17s....would getting 18s raise it any or would that just keep the same stance and fill the wheel wells up more?
