    To check what pinging sounds like do this. Try to take off from a stop in 4th gear. If you hear a scratching sound coming from the engine, that's pinging.

    I have the same problem. I don't think its pinging or detenation. It was happening before I put the supercharger on and now it still does. It's a rattle in low rpms. In the upper rpms can't hear a thing. And I can hear it more on rougher roads. I think it might be that shield your talking...

    Like was said before it could be a fitting or a seal. You can send the blower into Vortech so they can rebuild it for the best peice of mind.

    Gauges??

    Autometer gauges are freakin' expensive. If you want cheap, go with Stewart Warner gauges. They are reasonably priced. Boost gauge is $55 from Summit. Fuel pressure is $85.

    Intercooled kits come with the 3.25in pulley if I'm not mistaken. Non - Intercooled have the 3.5in pulley.
