    Got a stock distributor?

Yeah, but it's getting really frustrating trying to chase down this miss. This is one of the last things I can try...

    Got a stock distributor?

Well it's certainly not the distributor electronics or the wires, so I'm sticking with the cheap $10 unit for now. I dont want to put anymore money into this problem than I have to. I've already wasted hundreds of $ chasing it down...

Alternator - Headlights dim - UD Pulleys

Heh heh heh heh... yeah. I know. FWIW, I had UD pulleys like you did, back when the car was stock and I didn't know better. Put a stereo in it and there went the charging system.

    Got a stock distributor?

Thanks for the help, Tex. Holy crap... $10? That's my kind of troubleshooting money! Yeah, I'm not sure it's the MSD yet, unless there's just a really bad design issue with the matchup between the cap and rotor. Thats why I just want a stocker cheap to try. I'm gonna keep an eyeball on that...

At least we know who to point the cops to if you suddenly disappear. She doesn't know how to run a backhoe, does she?

Well, yeah, there's more to it. The cats need the air to increase their temp, breaking down hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide in the exhaust. I believe the air pumped into the heads just thins the exhaust, making it cleaner in parts per million. The computer (and people smarter than me) decide...

I know you're wanting to return the car to stock, but let me toss something out there... If you're not going to run cats, I'd stop spending money and time on the Thermactor system. It will do nothing for you but clean up the exhaust a bit by pumping air into the heads. If you can get the car...

    Got a stock distributor?

I've got a very frustrating intermittent miss in my engine (fresh rebuilt 306) much like an ignition miss. Comes and goes anytime it wants to. I've done about everything I can do and everything that plenty of folks have suggested. No Joy. There's an active thread about it around here...

Yeah, it does get frustrating. Stay tuned as I either figure this thing out or start parting out my car...

    Fox mustang magazine

Got mine today! First glance: lots of ads, but looks like a decent magazine. There's one page that has about 100 pics of Foxes, and I think I see a whole lot of StangNet cars in there...

    Intermittent miss...

:nonono: No, I don't have the OEM. Tore it apart to make a pre-oiler. If the A9p doesn't do it today, I'll try a new dizzy next. Although since I already replaced all the electronics in it, I don't know what in the MSD could be causing this... misalignment between the cap and rotor? And why...

    Intermittent miss...

New MSD Pro Billet dizzy, new Ford timing chain during the rebuild. Gear on dizzy looked fine when I pulled it to change the PIP.

    Intermittent miss...

Checked the shielding of the ignition wiring today. From the open end of it near the TFI / spout connector to battery neg... .5 ohm. No problem there... Computer will be here tomorrow. I'm not real confident that this'll fix it, but I'm starting to hit a dead end...

Yeah, you can find the check valves easily enough, but getting that tube will be difficult.

This pic that was posted by jrichker earlier in your thread... the lines that are done in orange would all be metal tubing.
