    The alt. pully is slightly bigger so i'll leave it until i get my 130g alt... but the water pump pulley is just flat... and looks like the belt will just slip right off... is that supposed to be like that?

    Went out to instal my pullies today... would not expect it to be such a pain... i absolutely cannot get the alternator nut to break loose... any help???? I got the water pump and crank right off no problem... but the alt. will not break loose... and also... the new pullies look nothing like the...

    tranny or converter???

    Because my dipstick tube is the most innaccurate thing on my car... its always full... actually over full... i drained everything out of the tranny... put a qt in the converter... and 10 in the tranny... FULL... but i know AOD holds 12 so i added that extra qt... still FULL... it leaked fluid...

    ok its most likely low on fluid then... makes a **** load of noise too.... because it was runnin fine for like i said a while... then let it sit... it dripped a lot of fluid... now its slipping... i'll throw in some more fluid then try it... but first im going to adjust the tv cable

    Yea when i was putting it back in i asked on here about adjusting the tv cable and what special way to do it if there is and nobody responded... its an AOD so i wasnt sure if you had to adjust the cable... how do you do it... so you do you think those are the only problems???

    also... i stripped on of the bolts on the pan and its been leaking tranny fluid... any chance that being low on fluid is causing this????

    I just recently put a new flexplate and converter in my stang... it ran fine for probly 100 miles... but now whenever i gas it revs up real high before it starts going... its a roadrunner 2800 stall... if im at a stop... and hammer it... it revved up to 5500 so i finally let go... that car didnt...

    Lets see from pullin out my aod i currently have a nut driver lodged in the wall, a screw driver lodged in a box, and i had a nice cut on my lip from smackin the tire with my tq wrench and it bouncing back at my face lol :owned: ... but altogether it went pretty well hahaha

    My advice when pulling out the aod.... have a punching bag handy... saves alot of knuckle marks on the car and garage walls... and make sure you have the extensions to get the two top bellhousing bolts out... other than that its cake
