Fix for collapsed vacuum line due to FI?

Yes, the stock tube. Do you still have it? If not, I'm sure someone out there has one that was taken off.

Fix for collapsed vacuum line due to FI?

I would try to find a thinwall plastic tube to shove through the existing hose. I know on my Whipple set up they have you do this. I really had to lube it up to get the tube shoved in, but it's for the same problem you are experiencing.

Need advice. Long tube headers no cats...but want quiet.

I have the JBA headers, JBA catted H-pipe and Zoomers axleback. Sounds nice and plenty loud, not crazy loud. Here's a couple of vids before the cams. It's louder with cams, but not by much. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Li6NP7w183c http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=55RxlK8-NWk

The stock mufflers will probably be your best bet. Either way you look at it the car will be substantially louder without cats.

i think i need new plugs?

I would definitely first clean the MAF and remove and thoroughly clean the throttle body before anything else. Have you checked for any codes? Whether it's a plug problem or not you really need to get them plugs out and anti-seize them before they end up stuck in the heads. Read up on that...

OK......Who is the Man for a Custom tune?

I think a Bamachips tune would suit your situation just fine. If you had a power adder like a blower or turbo then a custom dyno tune would be a must.

    How much RWHP?

Like I said in a previous post it depends on how strong your weakest rod is. Most importantly is the tune, but then the rods. I know Dean (twinturbosaleen) on several of the forums was at around 600rwhp with well over 100 1/4 mile passes before his popped. 450 rwhp is a good number to go with...

    How often do you....

I clean mine every 5k miles. It's easy to remember that way, but it also depends on how dusty it is in your environment.

    How much RWHP?

I wouldn't run boost at all without a pro dyno tune. At least I wouldn't do it for long and wouldn't rev over 6k. If you have a real pro tune the car you can run 450-500 rwhp fairly safe, but your engine is only as good as the weakest rod with a good pro tune.

    DAMN WHEEL HOP!!!

I'd just make sure the lowers are basicly level and the pinion angle is set properly to get the roll center corrected.

    Why called modular motors?

I don't know whether this was in that write up which I skimmed through, but another thing which defines a modular engine is the lack of accessory drive brackets. Alternators and PS pumps, etc are bolted right to the engine.

Tremec w/ Synthetic ATF Success Stories??

Our syncros need ATF soaked in for them to work right. That's already been done from the factory. I'd put 3 qts Royal Purple synthetic in and top it off with a squirt of ATF. That's what I did a couple of years ago and it's quieter and shifts nice. You could also pull up the shift boot and stuff...

    Cam install

That amazon link is for a 2 or 4 valve head. The 3 valve OTC tool is still on back order until Feb 9th from what they told me. If you can wait until mine shows up I'd gladly let you use it free of charge...just pay shipping.

    CompCams Question

You are right about that. I think you may have misunderstood my point. Most people are buying cams for the sound and want to make a little power too. The FRPP cams will provide a decent power gain with F/I and give great old school idle too. You are absolutely right about the higher lift and...

    CompCams Question

You heard wrong. Over on modularfords this has been hashed out repeatedly. My son is considering the FRPP cams with his Procharger and he's had several respectable people speak highly of the hot rod cams with centrifugal blowers. Even the Thumper cams are being advertised all of the sudden for...

    CompCams Question

It seems the FRPP hot rod cams are looking better all the time. Kevin MacDonald speaks highly of them. He's the king of 3 valve tuning. I have the BBR stage 2 cams and Manley springs. They run great. My son is going with the FRPP's and no springs.

Supercharger on! Attempt to start...not so good

Well that sounds good. I think I'd get a new fuse. Sometimes a fuse will be broken inside and the fact that it works when you bent the terminals suggests that may be the case. Glad you got her running.

Supercharger on! Attempt to start...not so good

That's the switch on the driver's side kick panel in a small hole (in the plastic panel) next to your leg. It's a red button that you just press in. That plug you showed a pic of looks like the plug that used to connect to the old charge motion control motor. That's the electric motor (tiny)...
