    I assume you're trying to pull it with the engine in the car. Where is your trouble, getting it over the oil pickup? Make sure ALL the bolts are out of it if it seems stuck.

    You'll have some ground effect holes to fill in on the fenders and quarters. Would make it lighter though.

    I feel a stock motor runs best around 32-33 psi. I would think with your combo, to try 39-40 psi vacuum off first, and then possibly work your way down, as the ECU will try to handle it after so long anyways.

    Labor Costs!

    I did the first four, plus put a whole rear end in in about 6 hours. Next time would be quicker no doubt, as I know wassup with the front springs now. Say 5 hours.. I'de charge $200-300 to do that.. I think $500 - $700 would be a fair price, he might find a mustang guy locally to do it for.

    I had trouble with my routing and routher on top of the motor mount, and it was great. Try that maybe. The adjustable cables are mostly junk.

    You can put the gt40's on the 86 block you had planned initially, you just need to cut valve reliefs into the pistons. If you don't want to pull the pistons and have them machined in, isky cams has a took that can do it with the pistons installed. Still check P/V clearance when through. Good luck.

    Not able to pull codes

    Wow, I just put a stock motor back in my LX, and the scanner does the same thing. I get a few click up near the engine though. It pulled codes fine before the swap, so I am hoping for a ground problem. Thanks AutoXr1
