    If you know what you're doing, a bent coat hanger will work also. The radio clips are 'sorta' like fuel lines, you have to release them before it comes out.. they are loaded to some extent.

    You'll need a stroker cranks for 331 or 347 (different), and .030 over pistons/rings. Of coarse rods, main/cam bearings, piston pins. Possibly notching the block with the 347, possibly not with the 331. You'll need it balanced. Not much else off the top of my head.

    The ecu wire he's refering to is the the top of the engine bay harness. It's almost between the 'salt and pepper' shakers. Should be a red wire. If it's not on the block/firewall, hook it up, I put mine to the same ground on the head that the engine grounds to the firewall at.

    Damn.. I could have mine out and back in in probably an hour.. 2 hours changing the clutch.. The limited space is the roughest part. Make sure if you swap the clutch, you get an alignment tool or an old tranny shaft.

    I would suggest you tow it, why CAN'T you? Take the belt off and see if it still makes the noise. If not, it's with water pump. Also check your antifreeze for oil, if it's in there, you head gasket(s) may be gone. Also double check coolant level and overfill tank. I had mine get hot one...

    I would try the remover on the rest, as it is easier, and then prime them all, and you shouldn't notice a differance. Have you thought about bead blasting them then having them polished?

    GT40s also came on Explorer through mid 94. GT40s have 3 bars on the end and GT stamping, instead of the 4 bars and GT40P stamping. My heads came from a 94 Explorer. The Cobra heads have a smaller combustion chamber, raising the compression, as compared to the over the counter or explorer...

    Can i use a edlel perf intake if it's missing one upper intake bolt?

    My intake has the rear right upper bolt stripped, I haven't had it helicoiled yet. No leaks. Tig weld an ear on it and drill it out. Easy fix. Well worth $100.
