    96 GT...Auto to Manual Swap

I kind of agree with the98Stang. If you used mostly new parts it would probably cost you $2k. 96 mustangs are so cheap these days it's not worth it. It's a real PITA. Among other things you have to drop the steering column to swap the pedals. I will never do that again. However, if you are are...

    Bridgestone Fuzion's ...

I love Nitto 555's and they are very inexpensive. IMHO they are as good as or better than F1's. I have tried both back to back.

    Mongoose Kit from MPH

A vortech install is not that bad. Tapping the pan is the hardest part and even that isn't too hard. It would probably take you 1 really long day. I think vortech gives you a card to fill out that you fax them back. Then they express ship the chip out to you- they burn them to spec I believe...

    Supercharger questions?

You should be able to bolt on any entry level blower kit and make it well past 100k. Make sure your fuel system is up to par and that you have the corect tune. You would probably need to upgrade your clutch eventually. You may also need bigger injectors- a lot of kits come with an FMU but I...

    4v's on nitrous

Thanks. That's what I was looking for.....mid 12's on radials would be nice. Does your friend have a tuner of some sort?

    4v's on nitrous

Once again, I'm aware that you can buy a window switch or a tps activated switch.....that's why I like Zex kits. The Zex box isn't really an ECU, it just houses the solenoids and activation switch, it doesn't do anything special. Like I said- convenient. Wet vs dry is a whole other can of...

High RPM Miss - need help!

If the problem started right after your tune up you should check all the stuff that you worked on. Check the cap, rotor, wires etc. How did you gap the plugs? It almost sounds like a sparkplug wire is bad. It's too hard to tell based on what we've heard so far but that would be my guess...

    Nitrous questions!

I don't disagree that people have blown up their cars from being stupid. A dyno is a great tool but when your done on the dyno you still make changes on/at the track. They certainly don't dyno NHRA cars and then not make adjustments at the track. A dyno doesn't account for immediate climate...

    Nitrous questions!

The Predator is a lot better of a tuner from the stand point of being able to make adjustments yourself. If you buy your own wideband (AEM sells one for $250) you can do all the tuning you want with a predator. The excal 2 is basically like a switch chip that you can make really minor changes...

    4v's on nitrous

The kit type doesn't matter. I'm just wondering how the cars react to nitrous. I've had a couple of NX kits. They are nice and can make up to 250hp with the shark nozzle but I only want 100-125. For me the Zex kit is a lot more convenient, plus I have a couple of them in the garage already...

    Nitrous install parts list

I would consider a Zex kit. NX is good stuff but the Zex kit is safe, effective, a breeze to install, and is TPS operated. I have a remote opener and I wish that I hadn't bought it. Filling the bottle is a PITA. A 100 shot is nothing. A GENX2 kit is a waste I think. If you hate your money...

    4v's on nitrous

I've been wanting to get another Fox body stang for a while because I sold mine when I found out that my wife was pregnant. I miss having a light 400+ rwhp car. I really miss being able to go mid 12's on radials. I don't have the money to properly build another 5.0 so I'm considering modding...

    what size fuel pump????

Absolutely no reason not to just man up and put in a 255.

Did any of the Foxes come with metal clutch quadrants?

I got a nice kit on ebay for $45. It had a tripple hook quad, an adjustable cable, and a firewall adjuster.

    351 or 331?

Depends. i don't think that it's as clear cut as these guys (most of them) are making it out to be. A 331 or 347 are alot more cost effective and yield good results. If you already have exhaust, a good intake, and most of the other bolts ons already, the 331-347 will cost you half as much...

    v-1 vs. novi 100

My old car was 10 second capable with the the Novi 1000 with 12lbs of boost. I think a Vortech S Trim is really the way to go though. If you buy one of the entry level blowers, the NOVI 1000 is the best one.
