    help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! installing clutch quadrant

That pic is from an install article I did for Mustang Enthusiast magazine. We were installing my Micro-Click adjuster and quadrant on an 01 Cobra. But....the stock quadrant and mounting shafts are the same on your car. Here are some pics: one of the mounting shafts or pins- you can see...

    help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! installing clutch quadrant

Whoa! What's all this about bending stuff and dropping columns? This is a very simple procedure done with a pair of pliers and a screwdriver! Once you pry off the quadrant, use some pliers or a screwdriver to get the pawl off of the other shaft. Then all you have to do is slide the aluminum...

    MM Quadrant & Adjusters

MM's universal cable IS an OEM cable. It is longer than the Fox body cable so that it can be used with long tube headers. One difference is that it does not have the fenderwell mounting bracket attached to it.

    MM Quadrant & Adjusters

Yes you're right. But that is not why the adjuster was developed. It was developed to tighten the cable as the clutch wears. This is why Ford developed the self-adjusting plastic quadrant. The problem with loosening the adjuster (so that the clutch engages quickly) is that you are left with...

You will not loose any adjustment using the Micro-Click adjuster. Partshopper.com has them too.

    MM Quadrant & Adjusters

This is something I think many have a misconception about. Firewall adjusters are not meant to adjust at what point the clutch engages/disengages. This is a fallacy that manufacturers of adjusters/quadrants have perpetuated. A firewall adjuster simply takes the slack out of the cable as the...

    firewall adjuster

Astro Performance has a firewall adjuster and quadrant that is better than all of them. The adjuster is self-locking and doesn't use set screws or jam nuts. http://www.astroperformance.com

Blowing tubing off of TB on 01 Cobra

The regular clamp is the problem. It isn't strong enough to keep the pipe from blowing off. We're looking for something with higher clamp force.

Blowing tubing off of TB on 01 Cobra

I'm asking for a friend. Does anyone know what kind of clamps to use on the throttle body? He has trouble keeping the intake piping clamped onto the TB. I know there are Adel Wiggins clamps for 90mm round tbs but none for oval ones. I've seen many pictures of an aluminum bar welded onto the...

    c&l mass air

A larger meter does tend to lean it out a bit but there are plenty of things that can be done to fix that. I have the 76 Trueflow system. Tight fit but good quality.

    densecharger opinions???

Sorry dude but that's wrong. I sell their product. Website changed to : www.tunableinduction.com or you can use www.demolet.com Only changes are the Green filters and a lot more systems with Pro-M meters. New things on the horizon but definitely did not stop production.

    densecharger opinions???

No they don't but it looks better w/carbon fiber touch.

    densecharger opinions???

I think they are a really nice system. If I didn't have a C&L system on mine already I'd put on of those on my car. Quality materials are used and they now offer carbon fiber overlay. They did just switch to Green Filters instead of K&Ns. Claim they make more hp/tq on the dyno.

    Which catback system?

I can get a Magnaflow system for $400 plus shipping or an SLP system for $405 shipped. Which one should I get. I have not heard either of them. I'd also like to get the one that installs neatly w/o many problems; if any at all. Who's experienced? thanks

    Tire suggestions?

Well instead of parting out the car or selling it outright, I decided to fix it. Its in the body shop now for the next couple of weeks. Since I cracked one of the wheels in half, I decided to buy the AR Rebels. What do you suggest for rubber? Some say 275 40's all around. The 95 Cobra's...
