    313.2rwhp/327.2rwtq

The stock plates have a butterfly valve on them. I believe they are really for emissions purposes. Not 100% sure. They are mounted under the intake cover. The Steeda ones just allow the car to breath better-simply put. They don't have the butterfly valves on them.

What is the fastest 05 on street radials?

I already busted the diff in my car. The diff casing spread/cracked. The spider gear pin was spinning and has a groove in it. It was about to sheer off, had I made another run on it. The locking pin that keeps the spider pin from spinning was bent. The spider gears were worn bad as well...

What is the fastest 05 on street radials?

My best is 12.86@105 1.70-60'. I'll smack down that number once I get my car tuned after installing headers and 3" exhaust. http://www.dragtimes.com/Ford-Mustang-Timeslip-5341.html

The most I've seen on any dyno chart is 4 and 5 hp gains.

    Ford Racing supercharger

I believe Ford Racing is a 0 mile warranty on parts. I would be very surprised if they would even consider warranting a motor or drivetrain with a Whipple on it-Ford Racing-dealer installed or not.

Best News Yet On Stangnet: WOW!!

Besides the 4 hurricanes last year, there are more hurricanes that hit Texas, Louisiana, and the Carolinas than hitting Florida. I've been here since 1979, and I've personally been through 2 major ones (knock on wood). It's better than tornados, blizzard's or even just snow, extreme heat and...

Nothing for weight reduction. I usually have around 1/8-1/4 tank of gas. This weekend, I took out the spare, jack, and rear seats. Being at a different track, it was hard to gauge how valuable it really was. At my track, my car weighed 3350 lbs spare and seats in. I weigh 150 lbs. In...

My best on the stock Pirelli's was 13.14@103 and 1.8-60'. Once I put on the M/T, things had to change. I promise you, you will tear up your clutch with the DOT slicks. In order to get your 60' down, you will have to feather the clutch out. I had it pretty much down-pat. I've replaced my...

Old School vs. New School.......sick of the all the B.S

I also think it's sad! I think it's important for there to be competitive cars to the Mustang or other cars we like. If there isn't, you and I will be paying premium. Competitive vehicles creates business. Dealership sales and incentives, aftermarket goodies, etc. I just think it's not good...

Old School vs. New School.......sick of the all the B.S

I'm just happy that I have an American made Mustang. Look at GM...they will be turning most of their cars to Chinese production. The GTO is mostly made in Australia. Go look at some of the GTO forums. Those guys are ticked due to talks about producing GM cars in China or somewhere over...

I see a lot of times and mods showcased by shop owners or sponsored cars. I'm just another guy like most here. Went to the track last night. I'm still getting used to the new clutch! My best run of the night was 12.94@105 at Moroso Motorsport park. I ran a 12.86 at Bradenton. The two...

    O5 GT wheel hop?

I've had wheel hop at launch-dumping the clutch and easing into release. Standing burnout-no problem. I will be researching as to the best way to eliminate this.
