    That's how it is run from the factory. But as others have said, to be track legal you have to run it to the back. No way of getting around it.

    I say buy the turbo kit and put it on the 302. Run low boost 8-10psi and run it that way for awhile. You'll learn how to tune it, drive it, etc. Meanwhile, start building a longblock. You'll have a blast with the 302 and once you're ready to step it up in power, you'll have that built...

    Guys with dry nitrous kits...

    You should be okay with 8*, 125 shot. There are a lot of factors, such as bottle pressure, engine mods, carbon build up, load, etc, but I think you'll be ok. Get the 255 pump. Lets face it, your mods won't end here. If/when you add H/C/I you'll need the large pump with nitrous.

    Definitely the fuel pump and the plugs are a good idea. I would hold off on the retard until you need it for sure. Check the plugs for any signs of detonation, but at 8* and 125 shot you should be okay. Do you have a bottle heater?

    Since the timing on our cars is computer controlled, how do advance/retard devices work? ie - BTM's or digital 6's that retard timing on boost or nitrous, etc.

    No, I stripped them first. Then started at 80 grit and worked up to 800 grit. Then used tripoli and white rouge.

    Rims are aluminum and get polished like any other aluminum piece. My tire sizes are 245/60's on the back and 165/15's on the front. Those polished rims have also been narrowed to 15X5", allowing me to run the skinny front runners.

    Don't know what to say. I couldn't have gotten a shorter belt to fit and I tried a couple different tensioners. Maybe I'm unlucky or you're lucky. Trust me, I tried everything I could before laying out more cash to March.

    Like others have said... light components and good induction. You'll also need to increase compression. If you look at super stock cars, they should give you some clues.
