    You have to think that there will be loads of after market stuff for the new 05's. Like shaker hood and all that. I am acualy planing on getting one and making mine into a remake mach 1. It will be one of a kind....

    I think how it goes it the molds are made here, then shipped there to casting and the parts shipped back for assembly. I really don't know for fact it just seem to make since cause the way things go are just screwy

    That is why I am thinking about getting a mach 1 for a good price. You see all kinds of mustags as it is and with the crowed drawn to them at the auto show you will be seeing just as many of them in 05. I would say you would be the only one around to have one for a while then after 6 or so...

    the thing is I do drive a lot of older cars so I do know what the 70's rides were like. Right now I have a 75 maverick and for a straight six that has some torque. And as for the gt starting at 25k I was told by 3 different people that worked for ford that the base gt will be 27k base.

    I think ford should have put some more power into the v-6. I was thinking about it today and the 98 svt contor is putting out 195hp on a 2.0 v-6. Come on. If you think about a 4.0 putting out close to the same as the 2.0 thats not right. They should need to have at least around 270 hp. And...

    check this vid out

    They are running a 60 sec clip of that in Ohio around me for the auto show this weekend. And it was played up in Detrot on 3 huge screens but with out the cobra. Something just looks funny about the cobra when it is moving. Its still sweet though. :nice:

    Update - Talked to a ford dealer today and they said the v-6 will be out in april and the gt in the fall.

    Yeah it but be nice. We just got a 01 corvette vert and I haven't gotten to take it out with the top down yet, I just sucks.
