The TKO will be plenty for what you have. 3550 may be a bit sketchy, depending on how much power you actually make. no its not necessary to have a powersteering cooler, unless you are road racing or really using your steering alot, ie: autocross. I run mine w/o a cooler, only reason is because one of my lines became disconnected, and I have to remove my intercooler to even reattach them, so I did what you...- DanG
