Darkfire are you the Ride of the Month?

Thanks Patrick. SilverHorse Racing sells it. It's called the Legend Splitter. Be aware, it's fiberglass, so it won't warp as easily and poly, but it chips easier. So, depends what's more important to you. If you're careful, the fiberglass will last longer than the poly.

Darkfire are you the Ride of the Month?

lol I love when guys on the internet call girls ugly. If you saw the girl in a bar you'd be slipping in your own drool trying to get over to her to talk to her lol. I'm sure few of us on here would win any beauty contests! Cars and girls just go together. Two things guys love. This was for a...

Darkfire are you the Ride of the Month?

Yep that's me. Wasn't tryin to toot my own horn by creating my own thread LOL. So thanks! But I'm very excited about it, considering this is the first month and they had hundreds of cars to choose from!

Low RPM Horsepower/Torque after Tune and CAI

I've tried the race and torque tunes, and the race tune felt the same to me in the lower end as the torque tune. I was under the impression that the race tune had the low end of the torque tune and the high end of the performance tune. Maybe the tune needs tweaked.

    Ford Hot Rod Cams

I've gone through the write-up for the Hot Rod cams, and I'm confident in that. But when you start having to mess with cam phasers and springs and such, that's when I get a little worried. Either way though, I know a lot of us are fine with bolt-ons, but when you start talking internal stuff...

Anyone have the 20" FR500 wheels yet?

Haven't seen them in person, but all the pics I've seen, they don't really look right. They look stretched. They don't really look like the same wheel to me.

    Candles

So, are you saying you recently added the Flowmasters? The reason I ask is usually exhaust components will have a coating on them from bending and welding, and it takes a little while for this to burn off.

Did you recently put any new exhaust pieces on?

    Ford Hot Rod Cams

NSR=no springs required. It means you don't have to change the valve springs out, which gets expensive, ESPECIALLY when labor costs are concerned.

    Ford Hot Rod Cams

Of course springs required cams offer much more power. We all know that... But we're talking double the cost with parts and labor. But for a NSR cam, these sound fantastic. I think they sound just as good (if not better) than the Hot Rod cams. Unlike ALL the other NSR cams, they don't move the...

    Candles

What kind of bad smell? Can you describe it or liken it to something? Is there any smoke? Definitely get a tune. Mustang Performance Parts & Upgrades by Brenspeed or Mustang Parts & Performance - American Muscle will get you hooked up. How did you install a Steeda CAI, and have a SCT XCal3...

    5.0 6 speed automatic Times

Then newer autos are great. With a good tune in both cars, the auto will probably win every time. Stock, with the same driver, the manual will probably edge out the auto, but with different drivers, it's a drivers race.

    Ford Hot Rod Cams

I hear ya. I was going to eventually got with the Hot Rod cams, but I knew I'd have to change out my gears, too. This puts me one step closer to cams.

    Ford Hot Rod Cams

Brenspeed just came out with some new NSR cams that sound awesome, don't lose low end (so you won't NEED to have lower gears), and gain about 30 hp.

    285/45x18 on 18/10 on GT 2008 lowered by 2"3 (rear) ?

If you have the stock panhard still, and you've lowered that much, your rear end is definitely out of alignment. If you go out and measure from the fender to the wheel on both sides, you're probably about an inch or inch and a half off. You need to pick up an adjustable panhard bar if you're...

Edmund's 2011 Mustang GT dyno real?

I'm glad he cleared that up. When I dunked mine, 3rd and 4th were nearly identical. My dyno guy had explained it but I forgot.
