    Seattle area cruise tonight? 9/16

Just wondered if anyone was planning on cruising tonight instead of the drive-in thing? Looks to be a gorgeous night and probably one of the few remaining nice weekends left. Let me know when and where....

New pics of my '70 Mach

I remember that photochop... I didn't do it did I? Gosh, I've done so many over the years for folks, I can't even remember if I've done 'em or not. Funny... Sounds like you got a good deal on the wheels on eBay. I didn't want to pay shipping, so when this set with tires and only 10K miles...

New pics of my '70 Mach

Thanks for the compliments. I spent a long time planning this car out, and I'm pleased with how it's coming out. It's very rewarding. Oh, and... Good eye! They are late model Mach 1 wheels, but the center caps are aftermarket billet aluminum versions that have a similar look to the old...

New pics of my '70 Mach

Some more: Back at home, and proof of my existence: Where it began: Sure, it still needs work, but it felt good to get it out and drive it a bit. I'm more determined than ever to see it finished. And to give credit where it's due, my father deserves a ton of credit for the...

New pics of my '70 Mach

I've been seriously remiss in posting here in the last 6 months or so, but I thought I'd drop back in with some new pics of my '70 Mach. It's making very slow progress and still has a ways to go, but it was great to get the car out, go for a ride, and take some pics. Most of the chassis...

Has anyone purchased and installed these 3 point seat belts?

I also got mine from Southern rods for about half the cost of Mustangs Unlimited, shipped to my door. As Tim's pics show, they're OEM quality. Mine mounted very easily in my '70, and I used the stock upper seatbelt mount, so they only required drilling holes to mount the retractors. I haven't...

    In case you hadn't heard....

My only point exactly! Different strokes for different folks... Now, to clarify, I'm a gererously proportioned individual myself (i.e. I'm fat... and I mean fat... like the kinda fat that makes folks say "holy crap, that's one fat man" kinda stuff). Now I'm not bragging when I say this...

Need Your Input on G2C Conversion, Please

Nice looking brackets Steve! You know I'm interested, but only if it will allow me to continue to use my '70 disc brake spindle. As Bryan said, shouldn't your bracket also work on '70-'73 disc spindles as well? Let me know...

TCP power R&P now only 2500

No... if the pirces are too high, we just don't buy from them. They used to have the only rack conversion on the market, but now there must be 6 or 7 competing products on the market, and most are less expensive than the TCP stuff. The end.

TCP power R&P now only 2500

Uh... I'm not sure what you're talking about exactly, but if it's about the price of the TCP rack being $2500, you're way way way late... check the age of the first post of this thread... from March 2002...

Has anyone installed Fiero seats in their car?

I've gotten a few PMs about the seats already. If you're interested, I'm only selling 'em local pick-up, if at all. And local in this case means the Tampa area. This is unfortunately very necessary since it's really a logistical nightmare for me since I'm in Seattle and the seats (and my car)...

    Burgermaster dead tonight?

Geez, I didn't know about the Albertsons at all. And I have to admit that the Albertsons is getting a bit far out for a casual evening cruise for me. Even from Northgate, it would take me a good 30 minutes to get up there. That's a good long ways... and probably too far for most Seattle based...

    Burgermaster dead tonight?

I assume you were the white fox body at the end, right? The white XR was me (the big fat guy), and the black one was my buddy. I felt kinda bad that it was so dead since I invited him out.

    Burgermaster dead tonight?

Well, I got up the energy and convinced the wife to go, and the BM was dead as a doornail! D-E-D, dead! What's up with that? Is there a new cruise spot? I mean a few cars drove through, but otherwise it was just me and the family and a fellow Merkur guy (and his family) that I invited...

Has anyone installed Fiero seats in their car?

Wow, I must've missed your post, 'cause I didn't know you were looking for a set... geez, I've still got the ones I was going to use. That said, I think you did better than paying the shipping for mine. And I absolutely agree that they're more comfortable than the stock seats, even the...

Has anyone installed Fiero seats in their car?

You may have also seen me mention that I was planning on using 'em. I'd bought a really decent from a u-pull-it for $25. I like the way they sit and that they maintained the proper seat height, but ultimately decided they didn't quite fit my image for the car. Well, that and my fat ass needed...

Wheels in the Restomod daze magazine

Without actually seeing a pic, they sound like they might be PS Engineering Minilite replicas. The PSE wheels are available in larger diameters and look like legit minilites. Just a warning though... they're pricey... Hope this helps...

    Burgermaster 07/01/2006

I'll admit that a shorter, earlier cruise would suit me better as I've gotta catch an early ferry to Bremerton to an auto-x on Sunday morning. Well, both routes I came up with wouldn't exactly be fun... the first would only take us about 25 minutes max to roll I-405 to I-5 to Green Lake...
