    Burgermaster 05/13/06

Nice to meet several of you... I'll make a point of meeting more of you next time. And thanks for not bagging on the Merkur to badly... it'll be my ride until the Mach is done.

That sounds cool... I need more info though. An address or even just a street name would be useful.

    Burgermaster 05/13/06

BTW, you might add this to the original post: The Burger Master is the one in Bothell on Bothell-Everett Highway. 18626 Bothell Everett Hwy, Bothell, WA...

    Burgermaster 05/13/06

Dude... sucks about your car, but drive whatever. I rolled one time with these guys in my wife's lame '03 Corolla S. They were very cool about it. Heck, since my Mach is still in Tampa, I bought my Merkur as a hold-me-over and I'm gonna roll with it this weekend. It's a compromise...

    Burgermaster.... (feeler)

Tyler, I did see you and gave a nod, but I was probably being to subtle, especially since I was on the phone with my misses. Next time... And if you can pull an 11.7 while bogging at the line, I think that's badass! :nice:

    Burgermaster.... (feeler)

It's the one up in Bothell, on Bothell-Everett highway. It's about a 15 minuted drive from Northgate... ok, maybe more like 12 minutes with 15 lbs of boost like tonight.

    Burgermaster.... (feeler)

I saw you! Damn! You ain't got no respect for the Merkur... I'm so lonely. :( BTW, how much just for the Ronals off your car??? They were Ronals, right? I think they'll fit my Merkur just right...

    Burgermaster.... (feeler)

Dudes... I found it, and it was lonely! Wanna_Be, you probably saw me standing there too... I was the 2 tons of fun standing next to my white Merkur... no Mustang yet... but the XR4TI has the same 2.3 turbo from an SVO, so I thought it would substitute ok. Anyway, I'm down with next week I...

Aftermarket Gauges in 70/69 Mustang Dash

There were several folks that had done this conversion on this forum. I haven't seen a couple of 'em posting in a long while. I think I might have pics of Corpse' old setup here somewhere... I'll see if I can find them.

    Craigslist listing: '92 GT, 59K miles, $1800

Even with what appears to be mild damage, I wonder if the subframe got bent or something. Still, nice interior, lots of good body parts, and assuming the engine hasn't thrown a rod and the suspension is intact, it might make for a decent donor for a vintage Mustang EFI conversion or a FF Cobra kit.

    Craigslist listing: '92 GT, 59K miles, $1800

First, it's not mine... just an FYI. It looks to have some mild front end damage, but not bad at all. Might make an excellent parts/donor car for someone. The listing is 10 days old, so who knows if it's still available... http://seattle.craigslist.org/car/146871137.html 92 mustang gt...

    Spacers and Autocross

Just to clarify, I just stated what my spacers were made of (6061) and that I felt they'd be up to auto-x. Admittedly, there is always a better option, but like all things in life, using 6061 is a compromise. They are less expensive and they are not as hard as other billet stock, but they are...

    posting pics?

Imageshack doesn't charge for its service. You can buy "credits" which allow you to upload more than one image at a time. But if you're ok with just uploading one image at a time (which doesn't take long for reasonably sized pics), then it is free. And I've never received any spam or annoying...

    Spacers and Autocross

I have a set of 1" hubcentric adapters on my '70 Mach being used to accomodate a set of late model wheels. They're made of billet 6061 and have grade 8 studs and lugs. I'd feel ok auto-x'ing with 'em on the car. And I agree that there is a lot of confusion when discussing this sort of...

    posting pics?

I'm an imageshack user personally... www.imageshack.us . It will also automatically resize if you want, and it provides you with all the necessary code to either post a full image or a thumbnail in forums or emails or whatever.

70 Mach I fuel line question

Kinda sounds like a previous owner installed a return line (maybe for EFI at some point???). That makes me wonder if the thing on the frame rail is an inertia switch/vavle or something...

craigslist FYI: parting out 2001 Bullitt in Seattle area

No, it's not mine... geez, I didn't even think it might be one of us... I hope not. Anyway, looks like a totalled Bullitt with some good parts for anyone looking: http://seattle.craigslist.org/pts/146362804.html

Cobra Rear Discs on 9" Housing

Dammit! I knew you were gonna say that... Keep us posted (as always) and I'll be debating going with the SN95 kit (uh, that means saving $$$). It really is great to see you posting again. Practical solutions for those of us who have to live in reality (i.e. on a real budget).

Cobra Rear Discs on 9" Housing

Nice work Steve! I do wonder, do you think there is any great advantage to doing this conversion as opposed to your previous Mark VII conversion (which I purchased)? Also, will the brackets be similarly priced to the Mark VII conversion brackets?
