    replaced rear tyres, had them all balanced. vibration still there. if it doesnt snow tomorrow ima put the poly trans mount in. It feels like its coming from the flywheel,clutch area. might have to pick up a king cobra

    Yeah i'll check them tomorrow,doubtful but you never know.. They DO need balanced soon, doesnt feel like the main problem as it happens mainly in acceleration. I'll try that as well :nice:

    I think i agree. I guess there might not be one way of getting rid of it. im looking at 144k now. Should i just have the flywheel resurfaced since it's balanced for my engine? or replace it all together?

    oh yeah, new motor mounts, but not tranny mount, trans mount visually looks okay.. I'll try that next.

    i used oreilys powersteering fluid when i swapped mine. however it looked like the rack was filled with type f when i bought it :shrug: ps fluid's been fine so far.

    Positive Camber On Rear Wheel???

    So I took the stang to the alignment shop today and they check the rear as well as front. The results were not happy :( said 3.9 degrees of camber and .85 toe in on RR. RL was ok with -.01 camber and .015 toe in. What can cause this? Maybe leading to my vibrations during acceleration?

    I got it from oreileys! spr-zm. the threads were gone completely somehow. ?? i've never messed with that rack before. It swapped in very smoothly! just had to goto the hardware store and get a different size fitting. but i Had to get an alignment done afterward. it was alot easier than expected.

    unfortunatly i've rebuilt 3 t5s by now lol. It is very straight forward. Hanlon Motorsports - T5 and Tremec parts, sales and service call Linda and order their rebuild dvd. set up a tv in the garage and follow step by step.. easy stuff. They sell rebuild kits and everything too. hope this...

    somehow im able to pull mine by hand. i slighly pull down on the top part and wiggle it and then at the same time i pull the bottom up too. kind like pinching it. just be careful .

    for anyone who cares i ordered a spr-zm 03-04 cobra steering rack. The downtime gave me a chance to install my brakes :) pbr front calipers. summit front slotted and dimpled rotors. hawk pads. and brembo rear slotted rotors.
