    I must be track retarded!

You are exactly right about the underinflated tires. Unless traction is a problem, there is no need to deflate them. As for the HP rating, it is common knowledge that 5.0 Cobras are underrated from the factory. He could easily be laying down those numbers. Jon

    what size tire for 18x9?

I believe the largest you can put on a 9" is a 295. Jon

is $8000 fair price for this car?

Good--I didn't think you were going to swap them. The install isn't hard; just detailed. Jon

is $8000 fair price for this car?

I don't know if I read it right, but you can't swap your guages over from a '96 to a '94-95. The tach is different. Jon

is $8000 fair price for this car?

Yeah, no offense, but the '96-98 4.6s are dogs. But the head swap makes them a contender... Jon

A easy question - What to inflate my tires to?

It depends on the tire brand. Check with either Tire Rack or the company that makes your tire. In either case, you are probably looking at around 34-36psi. Jon

is $8000 fair price for this car?

If he goes $6500, do it. The car is not worth $8K, and I for one try to buy a car with as little mods as possible. If you want it, buy it. Just don't pay too much. Jon

    Window Goes Up too Far...

Take off your door panel. At the top of the door, right below the window sill there are adjustable stoppers. There are 2, I think--one for the front and one for the back of the window. Grab a socket, loosen the bolts and lower the stopper or stoppers. Do this until the window sits where you...

I just got my Maximum Motorsport STB!

Trust me Numbles, you want the brace on there. I have owned a 2 wrecked Mustangs, both hit in the same place (driver's side front). One had the brace, the other did not. The car with the brace survived with no frame damage--the other did not. Plus it really helps chassis rigidity and...

    Intake desicion

Get the performer intake. The Cobra is a dated piece. As for the cam specs--I don't remember! It's been awhile. Jon

    New here...

Yes, welcome! As for an off-road H with your SLP, that will be extremely loud, as the SLP is one of the louder exhausts. May want to think about catted H. Jon

I originally typed that Vibrant; then I edited it before posting, because I got mixed results when I double checked my sources. Thanks for the correction. Jon

    Salvage Title??

Airbags can be had for $500 or less on ebay. Install takes about 5 minutes (4 screws each). I don't get the difference between a "pure" salvage title and "salvage history". I have owned salvage cars, and I have titled them. They only need a state inspection once, and that is before you title...

fuel pressure on my 94 GT

White plugs are fine. You actually want a clean, whiteish plug; this means the plug is getting hot enough to self clean. Jon

    Salvage Title??

Unless it is different over there, there shouldn't be a problem with registering a salvage or obtaining a title. Jon

buying a supercharger soon...which kind should i buy?

I guess we weren't. My point is that a turbo can be mated to an engine to produce peak boost at any rpm, it just depends on your application. It does NOT always make full boost at low rpms and hold it. Jon

    Salvage Title??

Carfax. If it is truly a salvage because of theft, it is a good buy. If not, then probably not a good buy. I speak from experience, having just sold a 2000 GT with salvage from wreck, and helping friends with their salvages from theft. The thefts are usually a good deal. Jon

Is your exhaust stock? Which headers do you have? You are probably looking at 40psi min. Jon
