    18x8 wheels..245/40 and 275/40 no prob?

The 275/40 18s will be almost exactly 1" taller than stock. That will definitely have a noticeable affect on your speedo. The 265/35s will actually be shorter than stock, but only by 1/3". Nothing to severe. Jon

    245's on a 10.5" rim

Yes derek, they will fit fine. If anybody is interested, I can post what a 245 looks like on a 9.5" rim. You won't believe how truly exposed the lip is. Jon

255/40/17 or 255/45/17 - which is the better size?

The more sidewall you have the more flex you deal with while cornering. If ride quality and drag launches are more important, go with the 45s. If you want a little sharper steering response and a bit more road feel and harshness, go with the 40s. Keep in mind that the larger sidewall ratio...

Exhaust -- X Vs. H Pipes Vs. Offroad Vs. Cat'd

First, you need to figure out your local emissions laws and decide if you really have a choice. Smog checks can be frequent and changing pipes back and forth would be expensive and/or tiresome. Second, you need to figure out the focus of your car. Do you eventually want to get Long Tube...

    Rear-End Noise?

The noise you hear as the suspension compresses is likely your bushings. Your rear end noise is unrelated to your suspension and/or your bushings. Jon

    Bumpsteer...What is it exactly??

A bumpsteer kit is an extension to your tie rod, aligning your steering shaft to your A arm. What happens is when you lower your car, you change the suspension geometry, making the car nervous or darty on a bumpy road. Basically it will change direction when it hits a bump. Very much like...

    Rotary powered mustang

Because he is a wannabe; he knows nothing about cars and espouses stats to impress and seem knowledgeable. It won't run 11s, and even if it did, it wouldn't do so with a rotary turbo. Jon

    how to adjust my illuminas?

It sounds like you understand my advice, go-stang. Phreak, if you ever look at a set of drag springs, you will notice the rears are many, many times softer than the fronts. The reason is to get as much squat as possible, transferring weight over the rear tires. Another thing that aids in...
