    My car(stock) where is my ideal shift point?

    igntion timing

    Yeah, 14* seems to be the magic number for stangs w/iron heads. Just don't forget that you'll need to use 93 octane gas, not regular 87, or you will probably have pinging problems.

    I've seen it at about $125 per wheel. The thing is that they have to strip the wheel to the bare metal, polish it, copper plate it, polish THAT, nickel plate it, polish THAT, then chrome plate it and polish THAT. Plus you hafta figure in shipping. I'm sure you could get a chrome layer added...

    I'm looking to buy new wheels. I want the 1995 style cobra r wheel in chrome or polished. I'd like to get some 18" wheels, but I don't know if the cost jump justifies the look. Also, I still have good 17" tires so if I get 17" rims i can wait a year for new tires. I am really tight on money...

    Gas tank wont fill

    Sounds like there is SOME kind of blockage or restriction in the fill tube. My parent's Toyota does this sometimes when it is filled with faster pumps. The fill tube is pretty thin I guess :shrug: . I would check it and make sure it looks ok. If that's ok then there could be something stuck...

    Oops, I forgot you mentioned longtubes. Those will give you a nice power gain from what others have experienced. For a cat-back I recommend Magnaflow. I love mine - good fit, good looks, and even better sound. www.mustangexhaust.com has a lot of information about exhaust you can look up.
