    get a code checker. If it is a 313 like mine was, it was to little egr flow. I found that the egr vacuum had come off. Once plugged in, the light went out. Really you can't do anything until you read the codes.

    First of all, separate the two pieces. Someone is always looking for a new T-5 to do a tranny swap. Second, list it as a 306 CI and put that bugar on Ebay. I imagine you could get $800 + for the engine and $300 + for the tranny dependant on its condition (good synchros help).

    Could a bad ignition switch have anything to do with this? I have had problems in the past on foxes with the ignition sw not making a proper connection and no turnover. Any experience or a second on that switch?
