    Anyone ever change e-brake cables?

I think I understand what you are describing, like the ends of the cables just have the metal cylinder-type thing on them, which slide into a kind of pocket of a metal bracket. So by first freeing the caliper end, there should be no more tension on the cables and I should be able to get them...

    Anyone ever change e-brake cables?

I searched, but found nothing. I need to get my e-brake to work in order to pass inspection. It does absolutely NOTHING to hold the car or slow it down when moving. Last weekend I changed the rear calipers because I noticed they were nearly seized when I changed the pads last year, but it...

Looks like the car will be getting put on hold again

Wow man, the dodge has a mean sound to it :nice: I always loved the sound of a Dodge V8. Hopefully it won't cost you an arm and a leg to get it back on the road... I hate unexpected expensive repairs... like the ones I have now to have the 'stang safety inspected...

Super hard vibration at 70 when letting off gas

Deffinetly check the bolts, but the DS might also be out of balance. I had this problem at 70mph (very very bad vibration) because my stock shaft threw a weight, so I decided to put an aluminum one on, and the problem is almost gone. It still vibrates some above 90mph, but I only ever went that...

    VERY noob question haha.

with stock heads and intake, there's no point in going over 5000rpm, the engine starves for air at that point. I personally found shifting between 4500-4800rpm to be a good bit quicker. But yeah, you're right to know not to mess-around too much on public roads :nice:

Need some advice (a few issues)

Hey Aaron, Were those SLP's we picked-up last year 2.5"? If you end-up going with a full 3" exhaust, I can probably take those 2.5"-ers off our hands :D I'm changing my cat-back this year.

    275 in the front

Are you running the stock-height suspension? 255's shouldn't rub under normal circumstances. My 275's rub the sway bar only on full-lock turning when going slow, and thats with a 2" drop. What wheels are you running?

    Stance??

Mine is dropped 2" and I run 275's on the front. I noticed last time I had the front wheels off the car, the driver's side inner fender had some light scuff marks from the tire at full-lock turning, but nothing to worry about. Before, when I had 255's on there, even with worn-out struts, it...

well the new car was short lived....

Wow, sorry to hear that, man, usually someone tries to pull-off a horrible story on april fools... I guess it depends on the dealer, the place I bought my used SUV, they do not let any car off their lot that has not been fully approved for financing. I went in on a saturday, and had to wait...

Need some advice (a few issues)

I'm pretty sure the Saleen S351 used a Novi supercharger, so surely there must be a bracket for it. But the 351 uses the same accessory brackets as the 302, doesn't it? I would think it should bolt right up, maybe with minimal modification. For exhaust, with your car's stance and Kingston's...

Crappy BBk Headers or Is this how they all Come?

I will also add that mine looked just like that, but once you get them in there and run the car, you will not notice those marks. No complaints for the price. Just make sure not to use the gaskets that come with them, they will burn-through in no time.

1995 gt having issues please help

Before blowing more money on a distributor, remove the cap and try to move the rotor from side-to-side, there shouldn't be much play at all. Also spray some electrical contact cleaner on the PIP inside the distributor bowl. When the PIP starts to go, usually the car will feel like its hitting a...

Found oil puddled on timing cover (pics)

I used to get a little puddle of antifreeze in that spot for a while, but it was coming from the water pump gasket (I saw it coming out of there), but that got cured when I had to replace the pump. Never saw oil there before... Is the rest of the coolant in the radiator clean (bright green) or...

    FR500 steering wheel color

they only make them in the dark charchoal grey (99-04 color), not black black like ours. Some guys have installed them and they look pretty good against the black, just depends how picky you are about things matching perfectly. When in doubt, change the rest of the interior to match the steering...
