    I did it on a manual mill in a city college machine shop night class. We also practiced on a junk carb using a hacksaw to cut off the horn, then used a die grinder for final finish work. Other than the milled finish the results were identical.

    After working on these cars a lot I've found out that many Mustang vendor-sold replacement parts are basically marked-up Autozone/Kragen/etc. parts. Most large cities have independent parts houses that can get stuff for even less than your typical Autozone pricing.

    Update, I have found tire rub marks on the edges of the spring tower. Seems that these tires are rubbing at full lock with full bump. But then I have less than 1" of clearance before hitting the bumpstops, so keep that in mind.

    I finally got around to measuring the tail light panel and I'd need lights about 5.25" high. The truck lights are 6.5" so that won't work, but I think I've found a way around that. I'll have to do some more measuring.
