Do I need longer studs going with 1inch spacers?

I bought four 1" adapters w/lugnuts for $120 on eBay. I had to grind a bit off of the tip of the factory studs because they stuck out very slightly, maybe 1mm. If your wheel backs have holes between the lug area then the extra stud length won't matter.

    Under dash Air Vent

Yep the cowl hole goes into the heater box, and the heater box has a vent door you could open/close for fresh air. One heater control lever controls whether the fresh air goes through the box and through the heater core, or out the vent door via an internal flap.

    Electronic Fuel Pump

Thanks. Yeah I looked it up on partsamerica.com and it is in stock at my local store, or so it claims. Not always accurate - been there done that. I'll pick one up anyway and bench test it to make sure it flows freely. They don't have the Mr G one, but a Facet that looks similar.

Gotta add some fluid to my T5, which was the fill port again?

The ideal fill port is through the shifter hole. Remove the top plug too if you like, if anything just to fill until fluid pours out of it.

    Electronic Fuel Pump

The only way to quiet a Holley blue/red is to take it out of the car. I've heard probably nothing but complaints about those things. I have a new one in box that I bought before the intarweb became popular. I'm glad I read about it before installing it. D.Hearne, I've looked into that pump...

With coilover setups, why not relocate the LCA too?

You don't need a $500 program, all you need is a pencil and piece of paper if it's so hard to understand the concept. Besides, how do you "win" on a suspension plotting program? It's already proven by simple geometry that a control arm angled down has a better camber curve than a horizontal one...

With coilover setups, why not relocate the LCA too?

Why would you lower the mounting point? Once the arm goes beyond horizontal in bump your camber curve is going the wrong way.

    Tank armor question

Fuel cell fill necks have a flapper valve in them that won't allow fuel to escape if the cell is compressed and/or inverted. A drop-in that mimics the original tank's shape would be nice but those are the ones that cost big bucks. A universal fuel cell is under $300 and I had a local...

    Tank armor question

There are filler necks and extensions that can connect a fuel cell to the standard fill tube. I have the kit but never bothered installing it because I lived at an apartment at the time and didn't want my gas easily siphoned. My vent hose goes through the floor and vents outside the car. The gas...

    New exhaust installed- pics

I got the same setup and was slightly disappointed as well (but was very happy on how much quieter it got), until I removed the tailpipes and routed the exhaust to the side. Now I'm happy. It's not the quiet-ness that bugged me with full tailpipes because even late model 5.0s sound good when...

I just installed sequential led tail lights......pics and video......

Thanks for sharing and posting nice pictures. Not a bad price, but the use of solid wires show that units were outsourced to the lowest bidder. The crimped wires on the flasher look very shoddy, they should've used non-insulated soldered connectors and then shrink-wrapped. These are automotive...

No Power, pops out back, runs hot, and Pi$$ me off

The instructions for reclocking the Edelbrock pump require you to hold down the rocker arm while tightening the bolts to seat the diaphragm correctly, otherwise it will be under constant stress. Says you will get erratic and/or low pressure otherwise. Tried re-burping the system? Jack up the...

No Power, pops out back, runs hot, and Pi$$ me off

I saw you have both a pusher and a mechanical fan. What mechanical fan do you have on there? As for the timing pointers, best you can do is find TDC on #1 and make sure it's zero on the balancer. Mine slipped 4-6 degrees but it's an original piece. If you think it's retarded, advance it 2 to...
