    I had the same problem you do in my 98gt. Get some trottle body cleaner and spray the inside of the IAC located by the throttle body as stated above. Never had a problem after that.

    I'd say hold out for the densecharger. I made the mistake of buying the bbk chrome cai. It got really hot while driving, I don't see how hot air has any benefits, eh I was a noob back then. off topic-kappaball where in the yay areyou from?

    ever change the t-stat? Take it to the mechanic. I know my fan used to come on at just over 200 degrees with my 98 auto.

    it shouldn't be too hard even with a non pi engine. let's say vortech s-trim, cams and pi intake should easily put you at 300+ rwhp without an entire engine swap.
