    water pump

    They both have a warrenty. I have gone through 2 AZ pumps untill i got a good one. It is an easy replacement so IMHO it realy dosnt matter. As far as the thermostat goes. If you have no idea how old it is then spend the couple of bucks and change it. it is just cheap insurance.

    which plugs?

    parts I realized your car is a NA after Stinger pointed out. But The plugs are available at autozone, second choice for me is always Bosch. Any wire should work though. i use 34 gap some use more and some use less. Good Luck

    chiming in Glad you didnt think I am steping on your toes. At forced4 we have had a run on headgaskets lately. It seems it is now fun to unhook the knock sensor and run the car till she blows. I just thought I would mention the consequences of an accidental detonation.

    What did you tune up with. Unless you used Motorcraft parts you are asking fro probs in the turbo cars. Also check your timing with the spout out you should be 10DBTDC.

    please correct me if I am wrong here but dosnt the higher pressure cause problems with the rear turbo seal since it was only designed out for something like 30 psi?

    also check your voltage regulator. they ahve been known to crap out. On the svo the wires coming off of the alternator get crispy and cuse problems as well. it is a place to start atleast.

    Got a few SLIGHT problems...

    Buy it and fix the exaust manifold. More than likely the missing gasket is causing the heat to burn something. The exaust leak will also cause the stumbling. It is a PTA to get an old turbo off but once you have done it it is old hat. keep us updated so we can help where needed.
