    Only the 84 svo had the non WC trany. 85-86 had wc t5. But if you look at the #'s there were more 84s than the rest. I have beat on both wc and non WC trany in my 86 at 280hp neither had a problem holding together durring launch. The clutch well that is another story.

    IMHO I would and did the pump first before all other mods. The 88 barely supports the stock set up. It is about an hr or maby 2 worth of work. real easy and straight forward.

    kits The 94-95 65mm TB has been swaped on our cars for 8 years now. Tiny avenger created a kit so you can hit the local yards and bolt it right up. all you have to do is open up the intake a lttle. I cant comment on the HP gain but the throttle response is dramitically improved.
