    rear sway bar installation

and when you position the sway bar up against the frame rails to mark where the bracket holes are going to be drilled, do it with the car's weight on the axle. just support the axle on jackstands and not the frame rail, and it should be fine.

    rear sway bar installation

when you put the bracket bolt into the frame rail, thread a nut onto one end so that you don't lose the bolt up inside the frame.

OT - Who do you have insurance with?

allcar's right: you dont' have to give Progressive receipts or an appraisal to get insured for an agreed-upon value. However, you'll want to have very good records, photos, and an appraisal if you want to have a hope of getting your "agreed upon" value payout when/if you total the car or it's...

OT - Who do you have insurance with?

I'm with Progressive. I only have basic liability on my 67, so I'm painfully aware that I'm driving on borrowed time. However, Progressive has no stipulations on how I use my 67. They'll insure it for it's agreed-upon value, but I'd need to get it appraised, receipts listed, etc, and I...

    I got a '67 :)

Congrats, and it sounds like you got a screaming deal on a well-optioned coupe (so long as it's not a swiss cheese-mobile). Coupes are where it's at, btw...don't let the fastback guys tell you different. What size V8? 289? 390?

So I'm Going with the Wilwoods

not trying to be a d!ck, but have you tried the "search" function? Wilwoods are a popular upgrade, and I'd bet there are several archived thread on the topic which will answer your question. I'd think that a good kit would include everything you need; my Baer 4 wheel kit had everything but...

I'm glad it's not important; looks like a really nice car. Congrats. Off topic: the new 302 is a crate motor, right? Please post updates after you get it installed and running.

How to tell if a motor is the 289 HiPo motor

& I don't think there is anything in the VIN which would confirm if it's an original GT. I believe that there are clues on the body, like foglight wire holes, but I'm not an authority. It was very easy to clone a GT with add-on parts purchased from and installed at the dealership in the 60s...

How to tell if a motor is the 289 HiPo motor

the VIN on the Ebay ad confirms it's not a real HiPo. Where the "A" is in the fifth position would be a "K" if it really were a HiPo. If I'm not mistaken, the A codes were a 289 w/4V carb, and made about 225 HP. Nothing noteworthy. It probably has a "289 Cubic Inches. High Performance"...

    Mustang Plus!! What's The Deal!!!

I purchased most of my suspension from them, and was for the most part satisfied (freight was kind of costly). I too have found that a lot of the things they sell can be had cheaper elsewhere....and I just had to LMGDMFAO when I saw the big deal they were making over the term "restomod." Oh...

will 67/68 vert center console fit in coupe?

I think I know what you're talking about now,and the gaps would be too far forward.

will 67/68 vert center console fit in coupe?

I don't think I've seen that before. Would those gaps be noticeable from the top? Could the seatbelts be run up through those gaps?

    JME GAUGES N BEZELS

I've liked the JME setup since I first saw it, but avoided ordering one due to having heard about nothing but delays in receiving the product. I might just build my own, like so many of you have done.
