Just got done installing a set of McCulloch 9007 (8K) True HID lights on my Saleen. The difference is absolutely incredible over the stock lights.
A good friend of mine was able to get these for me through one of his sponsors.
Install was about 10-15 minutes. Only issue I ran into was...
If you're interested in an '04...send me a PM. Mine is for sale and is mint with less than 4,000 miles with good performance mods.
Just let me know...'04 Torch Red Coupe.
I'll ask my tuner what the timing is set at...I have no clue. He has my file saved. I'll get back to you. Mine was tuned on 93 octane.
I've heard the X-pipe drops the torque down a bit.
My car with the following mods...
Xcal2, JLT cold air, 75mm TB, Chicane Pulley, 03/04 Cobra pump, 42 lb Injectors, and TR6 plugs
...made 361 rwhp and 392 rwtq. Your torque is a little lower than mine, but hp is right there.
Anyone else see this?
A 4.6L 3V based 302 cid stroker motor producing 370 hp / 370 tq without a power-adder!
2007 Saleen Parnelli Jones edition Mustang
Cool, thanks! :nice:
Just checked out Disc Brakes R Us' website...they have a specific Saleen Mustang page for our cars.

Aren't our front 13" brake upgrade caliper and rotors essentially re-badged Brembo's?
If so, would these Brembo 13" cross drilled rotors be a direct replacement?

Damn, sorry to hear about your car...but, at least you caught the @$$holes on tape and you know who they are. I'd be pissed and probably thinking the same thing you are...but as others stated above, take everything to the police and let them handle it.
Let us know how everything pans out...
Here's the link to the auction...
2001 Saleen S281 "Claiming" S/N 01-0001
1. The 2001 was rated at 365, correct?
2. Saleen didn't put zeros in front of their bumper numbers that I know of?
3. Fuel pressure gauge wasn't a standard option? I thought it was boost and intercooler...
Whoops, nevermind...I thought you were another guy who also owns a Saleen out in Hampton, Virginia. You've probably run into him, he has a 2002 Coupe and swapped out his 2V motor for a '03 Cobra 4V motor and Kenne Bell twin-screw. Same color car you have.
Wow, that's great...thanks for the info!!!
So I see the BASF #12 speedster and silver #50 speedster are also for sale. That #35, dark green satin...wonder where that is?
Nice breakdown. :hail2:
If you're looking for a nice SSC, I don't think you'll find one nicer than this...
PAS 1989 SSC...MINT
Once I secure a '99 S351, an '89 SSC will be my next venture. Why do these cars have to be so ridiculously good looking?
No link. PM me your E-mail address and I can forward you some pics, though.
I'm not sure about your second question...I don't have my Saleen Book with me. However, I believe the S351 and S281 were numbered separately.
Someone else chime in?
Yes, eventually you'll need to get it re-tuned. However, I swapped my tank/pump, installed new 42 lb injectors, and Chicane's pulley and drove my car for a couple days before I was able to get it on the dyno and tune it...BUT, I didn't dare open it up.
It took about 10 pulls on the dyno and...
