    ...and what did you run? How was the track? Not sure what you are driving, but 12.6 is pretty quick 3800 pound car.

    I plan on going with Nitto 555s next time. We have the KDWS on the GTO. After a few mods they feel like rubber bands and don't last long. I hear they really suck in the winter.

    I would rent one for a week (since they are available) just to make sure. Unfortunately, you'll probably end up w/a 6 cyl since that is the typical mustang rental companies use. Anyhow, you could get a very good feel if that is the right car for you.

    Test drive each of them, then go test drive the GTO. It doesn't feel heavy with the torque. Trunk is small and the steering is slow, but it is the best quality...interior and performance of all the cars you mentioned. Also, don't forget...you might want to mod later...which cars/engines have...

    There were 15,728 2004 GTOs built and there will only be approximately 12K 2005s (production thus far has been very limited). If the plant is moved to the states in 07/08 and they do continue to build GTOs, then production may increase. Lot's of ifs.
