    Isn't our lock ring a 4 tab? I can't remember. I just replaced my tank last year and 1 had a 4 tab lock and the other was a 3 tab lock. I just can't remember which was which. Other then the amount of tabs they should be the same.

    EGR VALVE

    I have mine disabled with my tweecer and also get the ping every now and then. I'm running the 95 Cobra R tune but never compared it with GT or Cobra tunes. The only reason I disabled mine was the threads are stripped on the header and won't hold a seal.

    What color are the injectors? Stock 19# are orange and the Cobra 24# are blue. I have a set of both I will sell for any reasonable offer. Emissions testing sucks. I'm glad here in PA we have the 5000 mile clause.

    It reads the air charge temperature and the eec makes changes to fueling based on it. I would assume carb cleaner would be okay to use on it. Might just have to buy a new one.

    The one closest to the passenger side goes into the waterpump. The other one goes into the intake right behind the thermostat. Mine connect to steel tubes that run up to the front of the motor. One turns back into rubber hose and goes to the WP. The other screws into the intake.
