Crazy 408 in the works....Compression Ratio question
Not sure, but i think that you are a bit off with your compression calculation, i'm comming up with 12.77CR. 408ci/8cyl = 6685.9cc/8cyl = 835.74cc/cyl Say that your gasket is 12cc-13cc and your chamber is 58cc then: (835.74 + 13 + 58)/(13 + 58) = 906.74/71 = 12.77 Walz- Wallzy

Possible Rubbing Issues

which size phenolic spacer will help more?
I would say check your hood clearance first with the 1" and go with that if it fits. Hit the track a few times, see how it runs then try the 3/8" and hit the track again. You'll know which one is better when you compare times - if the times are close then make a judgment call on the...- Wallzy

Road Racing...
One word, over and over again, "Practice! Practice! Practice!" Takes some time and it's harder than it use to be to beat up on some of the newer cars that show up, but you have to get your seat time it. Start with autocross then hit up some driving schools...And get some brakes on that car...- Wallzy

rear end gears
"90lx coupe" Granted with 3.73's i do not run up to the rev limiter (25" diameter tire), but i get pretty close, i like the breathing room of the 3.55's. Traction is a problem with a blower in 1st as well. Walz- Wallzy
