    1967 stock air filter height

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the type of carburetor you have on the car should be the deciding factor if the air cleaner base fits. The size of the engine doesn't matter. For example, an air cleaner made for a 2v carb would not fit on a 4v carb.

rear seat/trunk divider Here is the rear seat/trunk divider I got. You can also see my new package tray and trunk mat in a few shots. My gaping maw. Shiny.. Test fit and then drilled all of the holes (16). Painted black. Installed. From the trunk.

    1966 Mustang Coupe 200ci

dashpad I got the old Dashpad off. I had to take the heater ducts out first. Was having some trouble with the clips holding them in. I ended up pushing them down and through, and managed to break the end of one. There was a lot of foam still stuck to the metal dash. Scraped and cleaned it off...

    1966 Mustang Coupe 200ci

Thank you sir. It does rest on the two hooks, and now I can get the two screws. The Catalog crashes every time I try to load it. How much are they? I would call now, but they're not open today.

Headlight Assembly question - 1966 Next up: Passenger side headlight bucket assembly. Is this going to be a bolt on affair, or is there some welding/cutting involved? I understand it won't line up right, but I can save that for when it's painted. Dashpad is in. The spray paint does not hold...

300 pics, 60 minutes of video at the Texas Mile

When Top Gear did a mile race of the Bugatti Veyron vs. the Mclaren F1, they said it got up to a little over 320kph (198mph). So you're probably close. You mentioned timing the runs earlier. I think that's a great idea. It would make it more competitive.

Do it! In one of your cars, I'm sure it wouldn't take that long.

    Wheels for a new edge

I just noticed that on the OZ site. Edit: It is confusing because the "In-Out Year" states 01/2004. Edit again: Found this:

    Wheels for a new edge

On the OZ site go here: choose a wheel. It lets you pick your car out and shows you every wheel they make that fits a Mustang. Yes the Chrono HT fits, and yes it looks good. Edit: The site also says 18x8 Superturismo GT also fits the Mustang, but I think the Chrono HT looks better. Edit...

300 pics, 60 minutes of video at the Texas Mile

Really great pictures. Thanks for sharing. :nice: I'm not sure what you mean by a different type of racing. Seeing as how they've been doing land speed racing in the U.S. since 1904, I'm sure it is here to stay. If you're on the east coast, there's always the Maxton Mile in NC. I would like...

What is everyone paying for your '10 Mustangs?

What you fail to realize is that's why they make V6 Mustangs. They start at $21k. Plenty of looks and fun for the average person. That is why the Mustang has kept on going while competitors have fallen. The Mustang is competitively priced compared to it's competition. For example, a Civic Si...

I had to look this up. It looks like he was using the 1963 concept Mustang as inspiration... and a Zebra.

    AWD EcoBoost Mustang in 2012???

Don't say that. If you know what you're doing, AWD can be used with anything. A few examples: Nissan GT-R w/ twin turbo 6. Lamborghini Gallardo w/ V10. Audi R8 w/ either V8 or V10. Porsche 911 Turbo w/ flat 6 Bugatti Veyron w/ W16 and turbos Also, GM's Holden division has come out...

    Friend bought an R35 Skyline

I got both of those MSRP's from the actual Chevrolet and Nissan USA websites. The Z06 was cheaper last year, in the high 60's I believe. The MSRP is going to be more expensive next year too. That's why I used the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price and not whatever some dealer marked up...

    Handz Detailed: 2003 Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG

From what I've seen the E55 is 240-400 lbs lighter than the SL55, depending on sources. The SL55 has 493hp and 516 tq, with a quarter mile time around 13 seconds flat at 110mph. The E55 has 469hp and 516 tq, with a quarter mile time slightly quicker around mid 12's, thanks to the reduced...

    Friend bought an R35 Skyline

MSRP on a 2009 Nissan GT-R is $69,850. MSRP on a 2008 Corvette Z06 is $72,125. So, with -2,275 dollars, you're going to buy a H/C/I swap, and STILL have money left over? Anyway, I agree with m4a1mustang. I think it looks cool, but I wouldn't go out of my way to buy it.

Post your Average Fuel Mileage and Car here.

In my 1966 6cyl C4, 260k+ miles 100% city driving, 18-22 mpg. I don't drive it on the freeway often. 2001 GT auto 93k+ miles, average 19-21 in city. On a road trip 310.4 miles on one tank, 75% hwy, I got my best of 24.3 mpg. Both cars stock.
