You have got to be kidding!

I wrestled with them at first being real carefull and all. And yes they were a b**ch  to try to get off and then one broke and the remaining piece came off easy, so I resorted to breaking them; was fairly easy after that as they were brittle as heck. Just had to make sure I didn't scratch...

You have got to be kidding!

Some of the extra parts listed in that procedure are a good (preventive mainenance) idea since you're going to be in there and if your car has some age and mileage on it. Especially the heater core hose #1 & #2. But getting at the factory hose clamps is a royal pain! Last thing I wanted to do is...

Any suggestions how to quiet down a squeaky dash?

Ok. Not trying to be a wisea$$ biotch, but you are talking about a 1999. That's 11 going on 12 model yrs old. They weren't quiet for very long when they were new, and you have lowering springs which aren't helping any either. If you want to quiet things down you're gonna have take things...

    Help with aftermarket radio

I got all my parts/pieces for about $600. Did the install myself which saved a bunch of $$. I knew what I wanted and got everything from different sources which took a couple of weeks, but then I wasn't in any rush.

    Help with aftermarket radio

If you have a setting turned off, or not set correct on the HU then it will sound like dudu. I changed out my HU and all my speakers and wiring to get rid of the crappy mach system. I had to go thru the manual and check each setting and play with them. The sound is sooooo much better now :nice:

You have got to be kidding!

RedDaemon has the whole write up on this proceedure. I used it back in October to replace mine. Write up: http://www.stangnet.com/mustang-forums/785868-99-01-pi-pi-intake-manifold-swap-writeup.html My alternator bracket needed 2 holes drilled. One hole would've been ok, but drilling 2...

    99 GT intake question

Back in October I noticed some coolant leaking at the base where the intake manifold meets the head. Took it all apart and it was the intake manifold gasket that gave out underneath the t-stat housing area. My 99GT has 110k miles on it and I knew the history of these crappy manifolds and figured...

    Will I need an amplifier?

I didn't feel like pulling the amp under the radio in the center console, so I just left it there. But if your starting from scratch, it's really not too bad if you just take your time. I pulled all the seats and carpeting out of the way. I got my pioneer head unit from Crutchfield so it came...

    Suspension install help

I haven't done the CC plates yet, but the rest of the stuff I followed the procedures I found on American Muscle or Autozone. As for the CC plates you intend to install, I would imagine they will come with instructions. I know Maximum Motorsports' CC plates do and with pictures. You can also...
