Need some advice again sorry guys...

Hey I've done all that (except for the CC Plates, going to install when car is down for the winter). If this girl can do it, you should have no problems either. There's plenty of good procedures out there. Print 'em out or bring the laptop in the garage with you and you should be ok.

crackling, loose bolt sounding noise behind airbag

Well the airbag is held on with 2 small bolts. The bolts that are behind 2 caps that you access from the sides of the steering wheel. But if it's not that and the steering wheel itself is tight, it might be the rack n pinion bushings that are worn (common problem).

    a/c question

Well, I had a similar issue on my 99 GT. The tabs on the cable connector that plugs into the compressor were broke and the cable was just hanging. Don't know if that the case here, but worth a quick look.

    How to remove rear seats???

The bottom part is really easy. There's 2 pushbutton release about 5 inches from each end along the bottom of the lower seat cushion where mounts to the car. I had run a flat blad screwdriver across until I hit the side of the release and then moved it to the front and pushed the release button...

    Cruisin Concepts Wheels

Unless tirerack is running a special...they don't have free shipping. I stopped using them because when you add up the shipping charges it ends up being more. At least for the things I've shopped for in the past. I bought the 17x10.5 hypercoated wheels and sumi's from AM because they were...

    KYB GR2 shocks

I got my KYB GR2 shocks from Rock Auto. Sucks that they don't have the front's in stock. :( I got all 6 (front, rear, & quads) from them, but that was back in December. Super-duper prices. Couldn't be happier especially since I didn't have to spend what other places charge. :nice: I think...

    Rear Control arm bushing replacement

Maximum Motorsports has a write up for the lower, but their write-up for the upper is for using their tool, that they sell, to press out the entire stock bushing and press in a new Ford bushing. For using aftermarket upper bushings; drilling out the rubber for the uppers is a PITA! :nonono...

    1999 Expedition engine

From what I've read in other posts, is that the Windsor has the oil fill on the passenger side, and that the Romeo has it on the driver's side. Also the Windsor should have more valve cover bolts 13 on driver's side and 14 on passenger side, and the Romeo's have 11 on both sides. Almost all...

If it's not the ball joints, one of the other things I've read on previous posts, is to check the steering rack bushings. Hope it helps.
