    Clean up engine bay...

Another item to note is vacuum lines. I've removed a/c, smog, EGR, and cruise - so I don't need the vacuum tree anymore. Also, my evap canister is gone (and I park the car in an attached garage and never smell gas!) so the only vacuum lines I have are a 3/8" line from manifold to brake...

    project 3.8 to 3.8 SC 95 stang

X2 to what gearbanger said. Only thing I'll add is 3700 lbs was a no options 5-speed SC. Add a sunroof, upgraded stereo, leather (power seats), automatic - they were pushing 4,000 lbs! The SC platform will be real torquey. I'm not familar with the 5-speed that the sn-95 6-bangers got...

Updated pics of the Fox (new shoes)

Those look real good on there. I'm a fan of welds over cobras too. Nice change.

    question on dumps

Use a floor jack under the H of the H-pipe and bring it up a bit when tightening all the bolts up. I also use a pair of jackstands, one under each muffler. That way I know all my heights are right on when tightening. The farther you jack up the H-pipe, the more of the exhaust tips you'll see.

New life to some old Pony rims (pics)

85_SS_302: This paint didn't come out of a rattle can, just incase that's what you were inferring.

New life to some old Pony rims (pics)

LIP POLISHING 101: It's much easier to do this with tires off, but I did two of them tires on (the fronts) and it came out just as good, only took a little longer. Use an air angle die grinder with medium grit 2" scuff pad to remove paint and casting marks in the aluminum. Go at the small...

New life to some old Pony rims (pics)

Thanks guys. 88_GT_5_O: Good to know. The pic I've been seeing in your sig the last two years was one of the deciding factors to try it out.

New life to some old Pony rims (pics)

I bought a used set of these at the beginning of summer for $200 with plans to put drag radials on two and sell the other two. Then I got on this black rim/polished lip kick and decided to try it out. Two of the tires they came with have about 60% tread and were 215's - so they made good...

    M/T Drag Radial tire pressure?

I'm finally buying a pair tonight and wondering what tire pressure everyone runs - both track and street. These are 255/50/R16's going on pony rims. Thanks!

    What's this part called?

Go to http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/products/m3heathose.aspx Check out item # LRS-9424B That should be what you need. Couldn't hurt to get the rubber tubes to connect to the heater core either. Actually, with 205k, your heater core will be the next thing to leak :)

Looking for a slight rake, what springs should i get.

B-springs will give a slight rake too. And they're cheaper than Eibach's!

    i know someone can help...

As far as your coolant leak is concerned, you could remove that coolant pipe altogether. You'll need an NPT pipe plug for the back of the intake and a rubber end cap to clamp on the water pump. This would also eliminate your throttle body heater/EGR cooler (if you still have the EGR in place).

how will the B-cam act over stock?

I have absolutely no complaints with the B-cam. See my sig for dyno results. I consider them to be pretty good for 302 cubic inches and no power adder. I had a surging idle with it, but once it was tuned, that completely went away. Also, I run shorty headers, O/R H-pipe, and dumped...

how does the fox 5.0 compare to the 99+ 4.6 ?

I have the car in my sig, my fiance has a 97 GT vert that is almost stock (catback, shifter, CAI). I'll agree they are a better highway cruiser, but even with my 3.73's I'd rather be in my fox. That is, unless it's really hot out and I want a/c (which my car now lacks). I think the NPI...

    cobra grill insert template?

Use some 3/4" inch masking tape and offset the trapezoid shape that's already there, then cut around the inside of the tape. You'll still need to do some small trimming, but that will get you close. Wear a mask and do this in a well ventilated area if using a high speed cutter. Burnt urethane...

Which strut tower brace fits over phenolic spacer?

Maximum Motorsports will. I have a Cobra intake and a half inch spacer. The STB goes around the front of it, so an additional half inch wont matter.

    wheel bearing installation.

Yeap - what ninety1 said. I should also mention you should spin the wheel as you torque the castle nut to seat the bearings. Not sure if that's in a Chilton's or not.

    Bought a new toy!

Damn that's huge. Will you be using that on inland lakes? That's way too big a boat for any inland lakes around here (although people try it). I'm into pwc - used to have a modded Ultra 150 and now have a slightly modded GP1200R. But I like seeing V8 boats! The sound of 8 cylinders in water...
