    Has anyone used ultrastang rear disc brake conversion brackets

    I used the rear disc's off a 2000 crown vic, very minor mods req'd..very near to a direct bolt on. A little grinding on the axle flange and a couple of spacers, then I lowered the rear to clear the brake calipers lower bolt and it's done. Jim

    I had KYB Gr2's on my '88gt, they were a bit firmer than the stocker's, but, I had Bullitt springs on all fours. I like em well enough that I'll most likely put them on my '65 when ready. Jim

    Hpipe or Xpipe?

    I switched my 88gt from an "h" to an "x" pipe and the sound was much better and it seemed to breathe a bit better. Sorry...no audio or video clips. Jim

    Sealing Differential

    I just assembled mine with "The Right Stuff" gasket sealer. Not cheap, but it appears to do exactly as advertised. I applied a thin coat of sealer, gasket, thin coat of sealer then the chunk. Tightened it all down with new lock nuts and copper washers. Just need to get the rear buttoned up...

    I'm begining to mock-up my C-V rear disc's and have found out that the center hole for the axle bearing to pass through is just small enough for the bearing to not clear. It appears that I will have to clearance the center hole slightly for it to work. In measuring, there's .050" difference...
