Idle Issue 94 Gt Vortech Supercharged

The stock ECU is not tunable. However, the are piggyback tuner options. Yours will either have one or an aftermarket stand-alone ECU. The piggyback units plug into the stock service port.

Belt Squeal Mystery - Need Help

I would remove the spacer to see if the squealing stops. If it does, you have the problem solved. The tensioner has a belt wear indicator on it. If the marker is in the good zone the belt length is okay. Also, using a soap bar, apply the soap to the belt to see if the squealing stops.

    Electrical No Turn Signals

Is the fuse blowing as soon as it's plugged in or as soon as you press either the brake or clutch?

    Electrical No Turn Signals

The insulation is chaffed because something has been rubbing against it. Most likely the clutch and/or brake mechanisms when the pedals are being depressed. Perhaps when both pedals are depressed at the same time.Look again.

How did you repair that chaffed wire and what was it rubbing on?

    High Idle And Poor Mpg

The absence of a CEL doesn't mean there are no codes. Since the stock gauge only reads "NORMAL" how do you know it's 200*F? The relative position is meaningless. In particular the idle is a commanded parameter and as such the ECU will try to maintain that parameter. So many things can be causing...

    Brakes Mustang Gt

I don't know if they will fit but I thought the '96 used a hydro-boost system. Why do you want to change the stock brake booster?

    Axle Dampener

Probably all of us who have changed gears and added an aluminum drive-shaft have removed the "dog bone". If you are removing the dog bone don't forget to put the pinion snubber back on. You will need a shorter bolt.

Or the brake light switch or wiring from those switches. Touch and feel the wires from these switches to where they go under the carpet. One of them is shorting.

    Electrical No Turn Signals

Look very carefully for a chafed wire around the clutch and brake pedals. Wires have been known to get caught in the pivot points and around the switches.

    Electrical No Turn Signals

They can be tucked up anywhere in the dash. Turn signal flasher is usually on the driver's side with the hazard flasher behind the glove box. You are looking for a round aluminum module about an inch wide and long with terminals on the end.

    Fuse Issues

NO. There is a short in the circuit. See response to your other thread on this,

    Electrical No Turn Signals

Fix the short is the next step. Did you replace the turn signal "flasher"? That may be the shorting source. The hazard lights have their own flasher. The flashers look similar but are different .

    Cooling Fan Won't Come On

KOEO it cycled both speeds? Has a chip been installed? The ECT sensor is the one above the T-stat NOT the temp sender in the lower intake. Although I suspect the high fan with the a/c on should always come on KOER at idle even if the ECT isn't working..
