    Rear main seal leak? *DUW*

Check your PCV system, especially the metal screen under the PCV valve rubber grommet. If it`s plugged up and restricted, crankcase pressure builds up forcing oil past seals.

Ford is retarded! They put lousey heads and intake on the 5.0L stangs,(except 93-95 Cobra),and put the good factory heads and intake on the f`n 5.0L Explorers . Bastards.

    Need E-Brake help asap!!

I`m not sure if the SN95 e-brake is like a foxbody, but if it is you have to reset the spring tension on the hand brake assembly. I did mine recently.I removed the hand brake assembly from the car,put it in a vise with the spring facing up. Then I used what was left of the broken cable and...

    Stock gt40p springs with bcam?!

,at this point it sounds like you have no idea what valve springs are on the heads. I guess you would have to take them to a shop and check the pressure specs with a spring testing machine to know for sure, unless the previous owner can give you a definite answer and a part number on...

    Stock gt40p springs with bcam?!

Forgot to mention that since these are used heads,it`s a good idea to take them to an experienced engine builder to have them checked over for possible defects before installing them. It would be a severe pita to go through a head swap and find out that something is maybe wrong with the heads.

    Stock gt40p springs with bcam?!

mob...valve spring pressure is extremely important, especially for performance. At this point, you need to know what pressure you have now...and if it`s not enough, you need to upgrade the springs. The correct valve spring pressure is critical. If they are just stock replacement springs,they...

    Is corral.net down?

Too scattered? I don`t understand...there`s only 1 talk/lounge section on corral, the rest is supposed to be tech, unlike on stangnet where there`s a talk forum for each generation of Mustang + the land of make believe.

    Is corral.net down?

I`ve found that the corral has some great tech info and knowledgeable engine builders, but if you`re into the talk BS side of things,it`s not as good. I favour tech instead of talk anyways on any forum so . I have no problem with corral.

    Buddy Rich drum solo-1970,wtf...

Bill Ward is one of my favourite rock drummers by far,but Buddy Rich is on another planet. His speed and dexterity is unreal.Just watch his left hand for one thing. The man could pull off one handed rolls with ease. Neil Peart is on record saying Buddy Rich is #1,and capable of pulling...

Has anyone else here recieved Garbage like packaging and missing hardware from Summit

Summit is likely a huge operation and the odd problem can happen. They are basically a warehouse and distributor. If parts are missing,it`s probably at the manufacturer`s end.Unless items have been pillaged or lost at Summits end,or somewhere along the way:D .

    Extreme Sludge Problem!!!

Bad sludge usually forms over time when an engine is run too cool. I also doubt he is changing oil regularly. Lot`s of people say they maintain their vehicles when really they don`t.

Difference between 86 and 87 heads???

Keep the E6`s if you want to lose 25hp.:D

    shifting gears ?

When under tension when letting it rip or racing people tend to force or muscle the 2-3 shift compared to when they shift under normal driving. Practise not overly forcing the 2-3 shift under these conditions, especially with a good aftermarket shifter.

Spark plugs dont fit in new engine!!

The E6 heads were used on 86 Mustangs, but E6 heads were also used on 302 base engines like in Crown Vics,Town Cars,T-Bird,Cougar,maybe others after 86,so theres probably lots of them out there. Maybe they made a mistake and put E6 heads on your longblock. **** happens.
