Car stalls when I engage the clutch

This problem most def has absolutely nothing to do w/ a Speedcal. It's possible that if you've recently done an intake mod you may need to check all your vacuum hoses.

    Saleen Mustang

Also considered in the rate is the population of the county in which you reside. The higher the population, the more likely you'll get in an accident or file a claim for some reason or another, including theft.

    Saleen Mustang

Not close as in the Mach's a whole different car. I like Saleens but I must admit I'd rather have a Supercharged Mach. Well maybe. Look at a couple of the Supercharged or even the Twin Turbocharged one @ mach1registry.com. That's what got me on Supercharging mine.

    99 Mustang Cobra

I would think they'd rather ride in a Mach, but that's another Thread. :rlaugh:

    99 Mustang Cobra

It does have a mile or 2 more than I'd like as well but I couldn'tve said it better myself. "Get it and love it!"

    Detonation or pining?

Well after reading this thread I've learned that I'm not experiencing any of these conditions. I'm experiencing something else. Crazy thing is that the owner's manual for my car requires me to run 91 or above. Nearest thing is 93, so that's what I use. I would have to use octane booster or...

    99 Mustang Cobra

I can't say don't buy it. That price is killer & you'd have a Mach-like beast on your hands, especially w/ a few mods. 4Valves breath very well, especially w/ the heads on it. It's :bs: that a 4Valve lacks low-end TQ. Trust me; I know. My buddy has a GT we built w/ 4.10s. If he ever...

    Saleen Mustang

That is a good deal. I'm :D to see how many of us are buying the "old" body style Mustang, myself included.

    High pitch sound from clutch

My Throwout Bearing whistled for over 3 and a half years on my stock clutch in my 2K GT, but it never went out. Then I had the clutch changed to a SPEC Stage 2 Clutch and after 2 weeks, though a new bearing was installed, it began to whistle again.

    Detonation or pining?

What exhaust mods do you have? Is it noticeable over the exhaust? & what can be done about it?

    Detonation or pining?

Man! I wonder how I'd ever hear it over my exhaust. :bang:

    Detonation or pining?

Detonation or pinging? How can you tell if your car is detonating or pinging?

    Bad Stumble... WTF ???

This is precisely what my car does until it warms some. I just drive it really easy for the first 3 minutes or so & it's fine.

    Tensioner pulley question

Steeda pulleys are good, since the crank pulley is replaced by one that's underdriven & internally balanced. You shouldn't be having any problems. My only thought is that the crank pulley must either not be torqued to spec or there is no sealant behind the pulley & it's trying to come back...

    Are you running Underdrive Pulleys?

    Fog light question.......

Seriously though. The bulb is easily replaceable. Just go underneath the car & turn the inside part of the harness to the left & it should come out. Then detach the bulb & bring it to your nearest Autoparts store to get a same bulb replacement.

    High pitch sound from clutch

You have finally been touched by the infamous Throw-Out Bearing bug. :mad:The sound you hear should also happen when the car's in neutral w/ your foot off the clutch.

    2005 GT vs 2004 Mach 1

I've said it before & I'll say it again. The '04 Mach will by no means become "old" or 'out of style' when the '05 GT comes out. They hadn't made a Mach in over 30 years before it was recently reintroduced. They may never make it again. So it's already an instant classic, in my book. That's...
