    I brought this up a year ago about the extreme hood fitting on a 2003 cobra. It fits great and there is no clearance issues. Looks like over an inch of clearance when the hood is shut. Hood 1 Hood 2 Hood 3 Not sure if there were S281-E cobras made without this hood.. but just in case...

    I have gotten great value out of mine. Bumped my shiftlight to come on at 6200 rpm, disabled MILs, made my fans come on sooner, adjusted my A/F, pulled a couple codes, timing, and a few other tricks. Well worth it if you make use of a few of these features.

    I would trade my car for a new Boxster S with all the bells & whistles. There is more to a car than going 1350 feet as fast as you can. Fortunatly where I live, you will see 10 Porsche a day and 0 mustangs. It's not so bad being the black sheep :D

    You will have to cut the borla pipes behind the tips/hangers and slip it in place. You have 2 extra 90degree bends to contend with, but they are smooth bends.

    Re-read what I wrote. I didn't say you couldn't build reliable high horsepower, I said it would cost you more than going with the 03/04 cobra. And if the OP is only looking to spend $5,000 to rebuild and SC, he will have to cut a few corners unless he can do the labour himself. Hrm...
