    Best Mods For The Money

Airaid is the most popular CAI. If you're keeping the stock headers and h-pipe, I'd go with roush mufflers. (they have good sound) But if you're adding an offroad x-pipe, you might consider mufflers which are more tame, like GT500 or Magnaflow Street.

You didn't mention suspension, but that's a great mod for the coyote cars!

    Roush Axle Back

I'm guessing you have an off road x-pipe, because the Roush mufflers are certainly loud with an offroad mid pipe... They are a straight through design, so they don't muffle a whole lot. GT500 mufflers are popular for slightly increased sound and flow without drone or trumpeting. I run Magnaflow...

Props To Nick (84ttop) For Making It On Upr's Fb Page

Hehe... yeah, I post his car all the time. There aren't a lot of street cars out there which can run as quick as Nick. We're proud that he's part of the team!

    Wheel Clearance

if it was me, I'd go 255/40 & 275/40, but there are people out there who would choose a 315/35 for the rear.

8-sec Coyote Street Car On Upr Suspension

We spend so much time talking about what our fox body racers are doing (like David Pearson running a 1.01 60-foot time on 275 Radials) that we don't share what our S197 racers are doing often enough. So when we ran across this video today, we had to share. Ronnie Reynolds from Revolution...

    Wheel Clearance

You can run 9s in the front and 10s in the back, but offset and ride height are critical.

    Wheels-Tires Will It Fit?

15x10 with 6.5" BS is the correct fitment. 5.5 would stick out of the quarter panels. 275/50-15 would be close to the correct height. Also, 235/50 and 265/50 are not at all the same height. This tire shop's recommendations are suspect.

    S197 Panhard Bar?

Bar in the trunk is just a shock tower brace. It doesn't get adjusted after it has been properly installed.

    Engine 347 Build Thoughts

Personally, if the car is not using an ARB, I like to use a rear swaybar. I'm not saying it's absolutely necessary, but it helps traction on the launch. Otherwise the body rolls quite a bit. (and unloads the RR tire)

    Wheel Upgrade Question

You can use a 15x8 with a 5.5" BS, but the 15x10 will sit the tire flatter on the ground. With just a 255, you won't have to clearance anywhere if it's stock height. You will want to remove the quad shocks, and if it's lowered, I would roll the quarters.

    Wheel Upgrade Question

Yes, the same wheels will fit the 7.5 and 8.8. I'd suggest 15x10 with a 6.5" BS.

Post pics of how your foxbody currently sits

Look like I'll be driving the '86 to NMRA Bradenton this week, so I ran the high speed buffer over it with a little bit of compound. It's not pretty, but it looks good from a distance. :jester:

    Engine 347 Build Thoughts

Thanks Nick. Indeed, if our suspension is good enough for Nick's X275 street car, it's good enough for the rest of us. ;) Pete PMed me and I replied with my recommendation, but I'll post it here for future reference if anyone else is interested: Back in 2003, I had a 92 Notch which made...
