I sold my 89 and got a truck pics

Nice lightning man. I love the color. I just did a similar thing today. I traded in my 99 ranger and bought a DSG 03 lighting. I'll be making a thread about it later.

5.4L DOHC MOD MOTOR in a Fox **PICS**

Im guessing a crank trigger and an after market coil on plug ignition system. That engine does look very cool in that car. I've only ever seen that brake booster set up on 1 other car and it was a 1937 bugatti that we did some work on at the shop I work at. While I appreciate the work...

    SLA Front suspension

The Griggs k-member is required to use their SLA set up. Unless you do some serious competitive open road coarse racing, its not worth the price.

horrible problem after a arm install

No because your toe was equal, and if it wasn't the car would still track straight but the steering wheel would be off to the left or right. Looking at your pre-alignment specs I can tell it would have a small pull to the right based on the lack of caster compared to the other side, and the...

What you guys think of the patriot heads

They may be alright as far as build quality is concerned, but they dont make the "out of the box" power that the more reputable heads do. The pro comps that I had looked nice too, but just like with your patriot heads they didn't make near the expected or advertised horsepower. You could have...

IM SOO CONFUSED ABOUT MY STEERING AND SUSPENSION PROBLEMS

Sounds like a tire pull, try rotating them. Ford pumps are notorious for whining. I would let it go until it breaks because there is a good change the new one you get will whine too.

horrible problem after a arm install

Air in the system, low fluid, etc. Id like to know what the pre-alignment specs were. The camber or caster must have been pretty crazy to cause a pull.

horrible problem after a arm install

I would just craw under the car and loosen the bolts a little then re tighten them.

    Deal of the day!

You know under intense heat (exhaust) powder coating will flake off just like regular paint. Im sure someone just painted them with high temp black paint. But in any case good deal. I bet if you had them jet hot coated you'd still come out ahead.

Steering Jerk on the freeway - Rack maybe?

Try rotating the tires and see if it goes away, or if it shows up on the other side of the car, even if you have directional tires just do it temporarily to see if its a tire issue. I would highly doubt that its a caster issue, there isn't enough caster adjustment even with caster camber plates...

horrible problem after a arm install

A pull is 99% of the time not an alignment issue, (Im an alignment tech). Still any time you do suspension work, you should have the car realigned. Did you install the A arms into the stock K-member? When you install and torque the arms they need to be level. If you torqued them hanging down...

"BlackOut" is out for the count *pics*

Very bad rings, the car had very little compression, and I think the boost from the turbo is part of what was keeping it running. I think the engine only had 1 quart of oil in it to begin with, you went up a hill and the oil moved away from the pick up, and you're making the rest up. :D...

"BlackOut" is out for the count *pics*

Fuel injected cars, especially 5.0s tend to run lean. Rev up the engine and see if any oil leaks out. There was a car at my shop last week that had so much blow by it was pumping the oil out of the dip stick, but it had a turbo.
