    The air bag will not go off if the sensors are removed. Personally would leave the air bag. Also, I've read that if you are injured in an accident with a disabled air bag the insurance may not cover your injuries. Not to mention you may not pass inspection (if you need it) without them.

    I know your not stupid, but be sure to get good quality new bolts once you get the old ones out and use the correct sized socket when you reinstall them so they don't round out again.

    An exhaust leak should not make the car die. Make sure the O2 sensors or their wires were not damaged during the drunken installation.

    Make sure the thermostat did not come out of the recess/groove that it fits into while you were tightening the housing. I had this happen once and it made a nice leak. I like to use Permatex No2 non-hardening gasket sealant on paper gaskets like the housing gasket, also it's pretty stickey so...

    There is no gasket there, it's a ball and socket joint.

    A few years ago I had an aftermarket adjustable cable that did the same thing. I put the stock Ford cable back on and problem went away.

    The car may already have ono on it. Squeeze the heater hoses from the engine to the firewall, if you feel a lump you already have a restrictor. Mine did.

    I saw this one earlier. The low miler I'm looking for needs to be as stock as possible. Although at only $4500 it would be easy to put it back. I figured it would be >$8 by now. I think the Teal color may be holding it back a bit.
