    I'm running the stage 1 cam and 1.6's as well with tfs track heat heads.(upgraded springs) It dynoed 305 hp 319 tq to the wheels last may. Your 1.7's should be fine but like others said, upgrade your springs. It's a good cam that I and most others are having good luck with.
